  7. I breed the cock canary with hen canary first round. I take the cock canary out of cage when the canary chicks are about 4 or 5 days from jumping the nest. Sometimes about a week from jumping. At this point I put the cock goldie in with the hen and chicks. Works everytime for me. I start the birds on buds, plenty of dandilions weather it be the whole plant leaves, roots flowers and seed heads depending on what stage the plant is at. I use soakseed, sweet peas, porridge oats a bit of cede, couple spoons of glucose powder in my soft food mix. Also a couple of boiled eggs mashed in with a fork. I try
  8. sounds like a great result. I had a golden labx german shepard when I was a kid.She was a great all rounder in the fields.
  9. I usually stop when I dig down and get a couple of small ones. Thats my treat for all the hardship ferreting over the winter getting cut up to bits. A member of here put me onto cooking the small ones in the deep fryer for 10 mins. The hole carcas goes in absolutely delicious with a pinch of salt. The nicest rabbit you will ever eat. Im counting up the unborn babies in the dead does in double figgers now
  10. I agree about the vets can do shobby docks aswell. When it was legal to dock an old fella showed me how he did it. H e would cut the tail, pull the skin back slightly and nipp a small section of bone. When you let the skin go back into place thers no bone right at the tip of the tail.Doing this the dog develops a thicker layer of skin at the end of the tail. I remember years ago some of the doberman breeders docking tails. If you touched the tip of the tail they would nearly drop there arse to the floor.Ive seen dogs try to sit down with there docked tails just to jump up as the tip of the tail
  11. Heya Neil, they are from workers to workers all the way. Thats all the research I did on the pups. Sure it shows in there behaviours and attitudes already at such a young age. I could ring one of the lads later and find out if they know anything else other than worker to worker.
  12. theres plenty of decent breeding in the pups, sure there showing lovely signs already.there for me to ruin or bring on. I will do my best to encourage the positive progress of the pups.
