  6. Geordie Here ye go learn them for the weekend Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling From glen to glen, and down the mountain side The summer's gone, and all the flowers are dying 'tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide. But come you back when summer's in the meadow Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow 'tis I'll be there in sunshine or in shadow Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so. And if you come, when all the flowers are dying And I am dead, as dead I well may be You'll come and find the place where I am lying And kneel and say an "Ave" there fo

  9. Thanks for the advice geordie, I was thinking of one of the lighter guns as my 11 year old son would like to use it. I fancy a tracker, I had one as a kid and was a nice gun. The shame is I have a Diana 52 back in Ireland but it is FAC at about 25ftlbs and there is no way I wnat to shoot at 10 yeards with that, the rebound if it hit the tree would probably break all the kitchen windows....lol :11: I'll try the local gunshops over the next few days Celt
  10. Already tried that, just moved higher in the tree, all the block pavign is getting hammered too. I must have the only pigeons and magpies in the northeast with the gary glitters Celt
  11. I am thinking of getting an air rifle to sort a problem I am having. Our back garden backs on to a wood and we have a large tree in the corner where all the local woodies and magpies want to sit and shit all over the washing line and clothes when they are out. It's pissing both me and our lass off ( as I look out now there are 5 wood pigeons in the tree now and this morning there were 6 magpies.) So I want a cheap rifle to shoot out the window, about 10-15 yards and drop these messy b**tards. I won't use it for anything else just this? Any ideas anyone Thanks Celt

  14. plummers that don't like hens???? Plummer would turnover in his grave lol. I have the same problem, didn't break my current dog to them early enough, took him back to Ireland at 4 month old and my mam had 4 less layers within 10 mins of him being out of the car....more bother than the foxes were here words...
