i have no problem with genuine posts. like yourself what pisses me off is people just posting shite about shite which in my opinion they do to boost their avatar rating they have no interest in hunting just causing arguments -

Grow a set of balls ff's.... name your man? name what man WTF. it doesnt take balls to sit and slag someone from behind a computer, just time and i would rather not waste it, thats my point -
looking at the amount of posts some people have (and you know who you are just look to your left at your avatar) its a wonder they have time to go out with dogs they must be taking laptop with them i think its all about boosting their profile image to extreme hunter so they can say they an expert but when youve only been a member for about a year you must have sore fingers bad eyes and piles from sitting in front of computer 18 hrs a day i can handle an hr or so if theres an interesting topic but thats about it i like to be out doing what im passionate about or even just out for a walk on my

like so many topics on here this could go on forever the best pup for one person is not the best pup for another .i wouldnt buy a pup that i hadnt seen the sire and dam work definatley wouldnt take breeders word even if i knew them ,i only trust my own judgement nobody elses of what i want. like i said earlier i dont tend to go for forward dogs as they usually stubborn with short attention span making them difficult to train. the pups that hang back in the corner are 9 times out of 10 going to be nervous and hard to socialise some do snap out of it when they leave litter but why take chance i
-
well you havent met me, i can pick the best pup out of litter PHYSICALLY 9 times out of 10 from birth its common sense really if your the first or second person to pick from litter you have better chance of getting the best dog PHYSICALLY than second to last choice unless the people before you have been complete dummies .but personality wise its a bit trickier as some of the traits dont show themselves till the dog matures and also some of the unwelcome traits dont show themselves till it has been seperated from siblings. some pups take seperation from siblings and dam in their stride without

those people are only lieing to themselves and wont last long before giving up shame its the dogs that suffer though.there will always be that element in all walks of life that want the rewards without any effort on their part but i would think the most part of it they think they can make a few quid if people think their dogs are the buisness another case of the minority spoiling it for the majority

its hard to narrow down i like to watch litter interacting with each other for as long as i can. i know people are going to jump all over me for this but i can see from birth what a pup is going to look like when older i dont know how to explain it i just can.but temperament is something else i dont like boisterous pups as they tend to be headstrong and harder to train i like a nice quiet steady pup one thats a bit reserved at first, the second or third pup to come to you is a good bet depending on the size of the litter of course but i tend to steer clear of the first pup to come to me

noticed a lot of youngsters seem to walk about with their dogs off the lead near busy roads admit i used to do this myself till had a fatal accident with a lurcher that i thought was bomb proof at heel i was walking down street and as i neared corner of a street next to road man came running round corner nearly ran into dog but dog jumped back to avoid him straight in front of a car ill never forget the sight of my pal as he came out from front of car to path with his front leg hanging on by sliver of skin and lumps out of him all over probably haunt me for the rest of my life as there was

its always the same with farmers they dont want rabbits but they dont want anyone else to have them either. have you tried golf course for permission bet they sick of them you might only get ferreting but its a foot in the door as they might put pressure on farmer to let you control them on his land worth a try Yeh mate tried the Golf course but the rabbits just arent burrying on there so theyre not bothered with the odd ones hopping about, farmer just wont budge, bit of a recluse and doesnt like people!! what he doesnt know wont hurt him

shes just starting at two mate. my pups are just coming up two by september thats when theyll be ready for the work to get serious. the mother of the pups will be eight this season it took her three seasons to get the job sussed shes retired now through injury. the fatha is four he was a natural but still took two seasons of regular graft to hone his skills hes collie grey i can ferret or mouche all day with him go home have couple hours rest and then go out on lamp with him and i do that nearly every day unless hes looking tired or hes injured drives me mad when try to rest him if injured the

yeah its my favourite time of day everything just seems to be that little bit carefree still even though its daylight. same day as seen the deer i saw numerous jays and woodpeckers a kingfisher a vixen with four cubs in tow, barn owls, tawnys and millions of woodpigeon have they had an explosion of numbers anywhere else havnt seen many grey partridge this year though, seems to be plenty ducks on river
