  1. Class looking dog. Shame he couldn't catch it all by himself. Well done for putting the animal out of his misery.
  2. Anyone know what the best wormer is and where to get it from?
  3. I just pick up crap and use a broom and hose to clean it, every 3-4 days i bleach everything, domestos.
  4. Get a grip woman! What harm does it do? It's only over a pc. You should be flattered with all the attention.
  5. Yet another great bag fella, well done to you and keira.
  6. Sorry to hear that fella. This month hasn't been to good with peoples dogs on here. No shame in crying at all, it's only people who don't care that don't cry. Keep your chin up, it happens to everyone in the end. Remember the good times, time is a heeler.
  7. It's not a runt, runts always die, she is the smallest, she is fiery and gutsy because she has to be to get food, if she wasn't fiery/bossy she'd get nowhere. She's not that much smaller than the others, so she will catch up as she grows up, just make sure she does get plenty of food.
  8. Great pic that, i bet you were pleased. Shame you can't give him more goes eh.
  9. All my collie/greys have white from their toes, half way up each leg, not socks really, but i haven't had any problems with them.
  10. I think theres an old myth about animals with white socks, mainly to do with horses, avoid them i think, but imo it's total rubbish, colour doesn't affect an animals ability to work etc.
  11. Cracking pics, and dogs, especially that pup.
  12. Awesome looking pups. They're huge for their age, brilliant.
  13. Most dogs will only try when a bitch is ready, they don't want to bother if they aren't going to get what they want.
  14. How old is your bitch, they usually have a booster at 14 months old which is Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza and Lepto. If she is overdue her booster then the vets will say she needs the whole puppy course again and thereafter a booster every year.
  15. That pic shows her off well, i can see what shes going to look like at 12 months old, a beautiful, strong bitch. Very good photography!
  16. That's great for a first trip out with not very good weather conditions, Khan is a great looking dog, seems like your training has paid off.
  17. Good luck with your pups fellas. I also think collie-x's are the best.
  18. AT NINE MONTHS IN MY OWN OPINION A DOG AS NOT MATURED BOTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY, A DOG AT THIS AGE SHOULD BE BROKEN TO FERRETS AND LIVESTOCK, SHOULD BE ABLE TO JUMP AND ALL BEING WELL RETRIEVEING.TO MANY PEOPLE THROUGH IMPATIENCE AND OVER ENTHUSIASM, START THEIR DOGS OFF TO EARLY AND HAVE THEIR HIGH EXPECTATIONS SHATTERED,AND THEN GET RID OF THEIR DOGS.SADLY THIS IS A COMMON OCCURENCE,AND WITH A LITTLE MORE PATIENCE AND SELF CONTROL ON BEHALF OF THE OWNER ,THE PUP SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO MATURE AND THEN ENTERED IN SOME CASES IT COULD 14 -18 MONTHS OLD BUT WHAT IS THE RUSH WHEN YOU HAVE GOT YE
  19. No i do apolagize for calling you a weirdo..here them posts in the Women topic i wasnt coming on to anyone i was having a mess and laugh.70% of my friends are lads so i just enjoy the banter.Sorry. I have never been out properly so i am far from a expert at these things. My first dog was a terrier X type thing that caught a couple of Myxi rabbits and had a go at a fox once (pre ban) but let it go.This again was out on my own. My uncle has always rabbited with ferrerts, dog and hawk and ive always enjoyed listening to him.Although when he was around i was classed as too young to be allowed
  20. Earlier this year my greyhound bitch had 12 pups, i left the bitch to it, keep their nails nice and short too. I left food down for the bitch all day long, she coped fine, they started on solids at 3 weeks which was very soggy mashed up jameswellbeloved puppy and gradually decreased soggyness over the weeks, they also got every food scraps, veg, meat etc. 5 times a day until 5 week old, 4 times a day til they go. I also use drontal worming TABLETS as the liquid was spat out too easily, they are perfectly safe to use from 2 weeks of age. They had 1/2 a tab each at 2 weeks old and a whole
  21. She takes all quarry, mainly rabbits and roe, muntjak. She'll take a fox alright when we bump into one. Only had 2 hares with her, not many round my way. I got her from hancocks at 11 weeks old, sired by stormin norman.
  22. Mate him to a bitch and he'll be 10 times worse. And at 2 year old he can't be a proven worker. Get him castrated and that should help with the mounting.
  23. If he ever gets sick of her, she'll be flying back over to me.
