  1. Has to be fox, i got such an adrenaline rush when the dogs had one and the dogs loved it!
  2. Smart looking pair fella.
  3. Thankyou, yours is also a cracker, but i don't like leaving little comments like that coz it's the same as everyone elses comments.
  4. just took a few pics of ma 15 1/2 week old bull x pup, so i thought i'd share them!
  5. Thankyou, he is a cracking dog. It was a hard decision, but one i had to make.
  6. 8 1/2 months old. 26'' ats. SIRE: 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie x 1/2 bull 1/2 greyhound. DAM: saluki/greyhound x deerhound/greyhound. Basically he's a bitza. Sale no fault of his own. I bought him at a lurcher show last year because i felt sorry for him. I have too many male dogs. There will soon be a fight. Both his parents were apparantly good workers. I would like him to go to a good working home. He gets on well with other dogs and kids. Has lived outside for around about 3 months but has also lived in. Has basic obediance. He's fully vaccinated, microchipped and wormed up to date. I wo
  7. What a load of rubbish! I didn't ask whether i should or shouldn't castrate my dogs, i was asking about the cost. I don't want him entire because i have 2 entire males already who are studs, and he lives with entire bitches whom i do not want him to mate with and i do not want to breed from him anyway. I also prefer castrated males as they are generally calmer and more obediant than an entire. IMO. Shame we couldn't castrate some men. why? do you castrate youre dogs Why not?
  8. How much do vets charge for this, i had 1 dog done 4 years ago but can't remember how much it was. I know my vets will charge over a hundred, just want to know what others charge.
  9. Great news joeb, you'll soon be out hunting again!
  10. Yeah my two lads are the same. They are excellent around people, kids, dogs, livestock. My oldest one is 2 in march and he will take anything, started single handed on bigger things about 2 month ago  He stands at 24.5'' and about 23kgs. The other is only just 8 months old, i haven't started him yet, still too young. He's 22'' and about 17kgs.
  11. I've bred bed/whip x greys and the pups i kept back are fantastic, they have all the determination and stamina of a bed/whip with the added size and speed of the grey. He looks exactly the same as some of the pups by me. A cracker.

Breeding when only 16 months old.............. If i ever thought about this stupid idea i would shoot myself. No way is a 16 month old proven to breed from. I don't start working my pups til 12 month old and then only easy bunnies, they won't run on anything bigger until 18 months old! FFS. At least 2 years old for any breed of dog. Is it a wonder that so many lurchers are in rescue. I pitty the poor pups when they enter world, turn out to be 'failures', get dumped, end up in rescue and probably be put down......... That dog is still a mere pup itself. And if that dog has
  13. Get her fit and then put pics up, she looks a bit heavy atm, nice looking gsd though. Have her hips scored though, you don't want hip dysplasia in a lurcher. Not sure if shepherds need their elbows scored?
  14. Smart pair of dogs there fella. Especially that bed/whip x grey.
  15. If i had a choice, they would come off every time. Looks tidier to.
  16. I use a 3/4 grey 1/4 collie bitch. Shes 25.5'' and when fit 31kg. Also a 27'' 1/2 grey 1/2 collie dog at 29kg. The 3/4 x is better. Although only used on muntjak and roe round here. Or i should say we used to.
  17. i buy it every week, always have, just to make sure theres nothing interesting in it.
  18. Happy birthday fella! Ahh bless sweet 16
  19. See you after the new year then. Merry xmas and a happy new year.
  20. No chance of selling her at all fella. Shes here til she dies.
  21. He is just a pup yet and he already looks lean and racy. Don't take any notice. Let him grow up and prove them lads wrong. He is a good looking strong pup.
