  1. Very, very nice dogs, in excellent condition! :thumbs-up: What's the breeding?
  2. Im the head kennel maid/assisant/hand whatever you want to call it, at a boarding kennels and cattery. Been working here for nearly 4 years. Seriously considering joining the police force though or become a pet sitter when im 21.
  3. Tbh i don't think theres many borzois in the uk that are worked, too many show people who wouldn't want them to get dirty, my borzois breeder sounded mortified when i said i have started taking her out hunting with my lurchers instead of showing her .........I've seen this cross on epupz, they've called it the 'borzollie', personally i think it's a pointless cross, borzois are clever and agile enough without adding collie.
  4. inan: The borzoi was primarily a show dog, but both me and her found it absolutely boring and pointless. She has only been out lamping twice but she has caught a rabbit, didn't want to give it up but we'll work on that! She has an amazing prey drive and im sure she would've had that munty if she spotted it quicker. She could definately get a hare, the speed and stamina she has is awesome. Only time will tell. I just need to get her out more and get her some experience. Samba: Thankyou. Jody is doing really well. Shes getting really obediant now, getting big, everyone loves her and vice v
  5. Took some of the dogs out for an unordinary walk today. We were out for 5 hours! I thought i was lost at some point, but found my way home in the end. We were just taking a regular trip out over our ordinary grounds and i thught what the hell, we're gonna go on an adventure tour!! We just carried on through the fields that we hadn't crossed before, they were just endless and some i just had to keep going because there wasn't an exit. I can't wait to lamp this ground, didn't see any bunnies......BUT........i saw a hare, the second one i've seen this season, the dogs didn't spot it as they w
  6. Very nice healthy looking pups fella. Good luck with em!
  7. Wait until the dog is at least 12 months old, some dogs take longer than others. If it still hasn't dropped i'd get him done mate. If you breed from a dog with only one ball then som eof the progeny will have the same problem as it's hereditary. Regarding the working bit, a castrated dog will work just as well as an entire.
  8. Im a retriever. Damn i wanted to be some sort of hound or terrier! Why's everyonepit bulls? You're not all bad tempered, macho, high energy, loveable creatures are you?
  9. I always have trouble getting to sleep but once im asleep thats it, nothing will wake me til it's time to get up! I should've been a hamster, i prefer staying out late and sleeping in the day, just that the boss wouldn't be too keen on that So it's redbull to keep me going and then the same happens the next night! But after a trip out lamping, i chill out for abit, feed the dogs and the tv usually sends me to sleep. Or better still i get the other half to tire me out  If you're tired even when walking on a lamping trip, then you can't be fit enough!
  10. Malibu and coke all the time! A few vodka/redbulls, then wkd's, then barcardi breezers, then more malibu and coke! Once im pissed im a live wire and bursting with energy. BUT if i drink wine, im absolutely shit faced in no time and feel like falling asleep
  11. Cracking pups The pink colours are  aswell.
  12. She's the spit of golly isn't she. Very very nice, i idalize golly.
  13. If your lurcher is unfit then take it out road walking first, strenghthen the muscles up, gradually increase the length of the walk, and let it run off lead everyday. You should start to see when your dogs getting fitter. Muscles should start to show, you should be able to feel your dogs ribs clearly and generally he should have more stamina. Take it out everyday and eventually walk it as much as you can.
  14. I love that black and white one lennard, it's those ears!
  15. Always owned collie/greys and bedlington x's. A few have been stolen in the past, by bloody pikeys I suppose these crosses because they were fairly popular and i always heard good about them and tbh i haven't a fault with them, apart from my 1/2 x collie/grey who just needs too much stimulation, i won't get a dog of this cross again, although my boy is here for the rest of his life. Just recently 2 bull x's have joined our pack because they are incredibly powerful, loyal, intelligent, very willing and affectionate, our collie x's have the same attributes but the bull x's don't show any

  17. Akon - smack that, next up rhianna - sos
  18. My first wage was about 7 years ago when i was 11. It was a paper round! £10 a week. I also walked a rhodesian ridgeback for £5 a walk. I spent this on anything and everything. Clothes, cd's, magazines, sweets. Then i got a proper job and im still doing that. f**k knows where the money goes now. On the piss most of it, and bloody dogs!
  19. So sorry to hear that. These people make me sick. I have everything crossed in the hope you get her back. :thumbs-up:
  20. I would someday love to own a proper AMPBT. When they become legal  A pharoah hound because they are absolutely stunning and i want to know if they'd work as well as a lurcher. Also a blue merle smooth collie Oh and a dogo argentino.
  21. Very fit lurcher fella. Shes a cracker.
