I have a 5 year old hancock dog sired by billy clinton. Have you got any pics of her as she is now?

Me, my mum, 2 brothers and 7 lurchers went last year for the first time and we will definately be going again this year. Don't think we'll stay the night though, shame as it sounds like a good laugh. But me and my mum in close proximity of a load of drunken lads..................doesn't sound to good

Colour is a big influence for me. Im not keen on black or black and tans, black is just a dull colour to me and if i have to look at it everyday then i need to like the look of it. I like blue merles, blues, fawn and whites, any colour and white tbh and reds/fawns. Of course if there was a pup of specific breeding and the only colour was black, then i'd have to have it. BUT i've always had choice with pups.

I hope my 3/4 x grows up to be as powerfull looking as him. How tall is he? My pup's 5 month old soon and she's about 21'' at the shoulder.

So so sorry to hear that. At least he had a good long life. I lost one of my greyhounds in october, she was only 5. Horrible decision to have to make i know, keep your chin up and think of all the good times........

thank you marco , advice i needed cheers Dale Exactly what i would have said. You could also advertise them as non pedigree whippets, i think TINA on here just bred a litter of 3/4 whippet 1/4 greyhound pups and advertised them as non pedigree whippets. alot of racing whippet people don't have 'pure' whippets.

Thankyou very much! Shes 3/4 greyhound 1/4 border collie. I wish i had bred her myself, but no i didn't. Dare i say it, shes a hancock dog...................But shes one of the good ones!................ But yes i have to agree, she is one stuning looking animal!!!!!

Absolutely true. Two merles bred together usually results in white, deaf and blind pups. I have a merle stud and if people want to use him on their merle bitch i refuse, i wouldn't chance it. I don't think there are breeders specifically breeding merles, but if one of the parents are merle then quite a few pups will be, well in my experience that's the case. I love merle colouring on a lurcher, especially blue merle, stunning.

Just keep them very warm, dry and fed well. Make sure you do as molly said in a previous post after feeding them. Good luck.
