Shitty wiltshire, would like to live in yorkshire one day.
  2. It looks nice but i find they are utter crap. The long lead slips are a waste of time as you have to pull the back and slip it with one hand or you have the one like yours, f****d if you've got a small dog. The clip isn't reliable either like others have said, numerous occasions in the past the dogs were free. I just use a normal collar fitted loosely and a lead slipped through the collar, nice and easy, even better when you've trained your dog to just walk by your side until you say go.
  3. Spring looks abit worse for wear in the first pic...........gypsy looks the spit of tash as a pup in the last pic of her. Don't they look pretty well behaved animals in the field.................lol
  4. Oh my god i would be ashamed and embarrassed lol. i was but lets just say she was mature for her age As most girls are............
  5. I think 7-10 weeks old depending on the development of that pup. I read somewhere that 7 weeks was ideal because 6 weeks is too young and 8 weeks is the most fearful stage for a pup. I do think that alot of pups are sold at 6 weeks old because that's when they start to become hard work, noisy, messy and greedy. People just want rid, but i think that extra week or so really helps them with dog to dog communication skills later on in life.
  6. Oh my god i would be ashamed and embarrassed lol.
  7. That is just vulgar, i have never heard of it and i wouldn't really want my dogs to eat it tbh.
  8. I have far too many embarrassing moments to mention, not that i would to anyway.........
  9. Well i own a bull x and to be honest if i wanted a dog to look 'hard' with i would get a f*****g pure bred or a rottweiler????? I don't need to look macho or have a dick extension either unless i have a sex change!!! Don't tar everyone with the brush. I own this type of lurcher because i like the temperament and working ability, she is very keen, loyal and would die working, i did not get her to only smash foxes up, she is so soft mouthed with rabbits that she will drop them and they will run off again so she has to catch them again, yet before the ban came in she was a fantastic freezer fille
  10. 1 dog on everything, you shouldn't need 2. Only time i have used 2 is to start a pup off with an experienced dog.
  11. sorry to hear that, but we all know the day comes at some point, give her loads of love and pampering and let her go.
  12. Worming the bitch throughout pregnancy will do no damage whatsoever. Definately worm her 2 weeks before giving birth to lower the birden of worms to the pups, also worm the bitch every time you worm the pups. I find using liqiud or paste a waste also as like you have stated they spit it out. I drontal tablets even at 2 weeks old, usually a quarter of a tablet with no problems. Good luck with them!
  13. Nice couple of pics, have a comp between her and stormbus when she's older.
  14. My bitch does well on bunnies, 9 times out of ten she will have the rabbit live in her mouth when she's caugh it, she's done alot of roe tracking and does it well, retrieving foxes is something she hasn't had much experience with, but hopefully she will do and it's only her second season at the moment, but i have no doubts that she will retrieve them..........
  15. This is my bitch, 3/4 grey 1/4 bull, just over 2 years old and doing well, not really your typical looking bull x but i like her just how she is.
  16. That dog is in excellent condition. What percentage bull/grey is it?
  17. I haven't bred a litter since 2004 and don't intend to do so for another 3-4 years if not more. Only reason that litter will be bred is for my own purpose, to keep a pup back from my bitch to bring on when she's going to retire, once she has been tested in the field over the next few seasons of her career.
  18. Teaching your puppy bad habits hype, he's afr too young to go to the pub!! lol
  19. Took the dogs out this afternoon, about half 1ish and everywhere was still frozen, even the ponds and lakes, the belgian shep and chihuahua thought they'd do a little skating.
  20. Ta, injurys fine, just a few scratch marks.
  21. Cheers taff, she is thankyou, semi retiring now though
