how many pups are you ceeping None, i was hopeing to get a fawn bitch, but there are only blacks and im not a huge fan of black dogs.

He should definately be fully castrated. Having a retaine dtesticle can carry a high risk of becoming cancerous. You should not breed from a dog with a retained testicle as this is 99% hereditary, even if the sire had a full set, it can pass down from any generation. I would get him donee when he is 12 months old, by then he will be sexually mature, well he is now, but he will be more mature then. Regarding the foxes, if he has it in him already, then castration will make no difference at all. Once a dog has become sexually mature, there is usually no change in character. It's when they

that must cost you a few quid collie grey,with all the acreage you have to cover ,it might be cheaper hiring a cropdusting plane and do them all in one go good hunting Skinnyrat Yeah it is a bit. I pay monthly for all my dogs treatment. My vets do this thing called the pet health club. I pay something like £12 per a dog a month. This includes years supply of frontline for each dog, milbemax worming tablets every 3 months, 2 healthchecks a year, and boosters. My vets would be out of business if i wasn't one of there clients.

I've always used frontline and always will great stuff, all year round, every 2 months. Also use it on pups.

You should keep your dog on a lead and muzzled until it is safe around them again, if the farmer finds out your dog will have to be pts, definately. If the farmer catches the dog doing it he is in his own rights to shoot the dog. If i was you i wouldn't let your dogs go out walking with that staffy again around sheep.

Well as you no my bitch had her pups last sunday by c- section, so here they are, pics taken today as i borrowed my sisters digi cam. This is mum with whole litter. This is their foster mum who looked after them when they were only a few hours old, while their mum was still at vets being looked after. Here are some pics of the gorgeous little darlings themselves. The dogs are named as follows: sullivan, hugo, leon, ethan, aaron, lioyd and keegan. The bitches are as follows: leah, luca, teagan, alana and lidia.

Had my vet out today, pups and dam are doing just fine. Dam is going down to be spayed next week.

Thanks for all this good feedback everyone. Pups and dam are all doing fine now. As long as my dogs and pups are ok, the money doesn't bother me. Your vet bill was very cheap nikey? Do you wanna swap? It was £71 call out on a sunday, £200 for 3 oxytocin jabs and the rest was for the ceasar and antibiotics. Im gonna get a little more added on because my vet needs to come here tommorrow to check on mum and pups. I will get pics up asap.

Bitches are in season for about 3 weeks, most stand in the middle of the second week but it varies from bitch to bitch. When her vulva is very swollen and when blood appears to be almost invisible. Also if you rub your bitch on her back at the top of her tail she will move her tail to the side if she is ready.
