Sorry to read that fella, what about asking the mods for a section on the website that say would offer your services as a chippy or any other services for the surrounding areas. I hope the work picks up

Just type into you tube the words, A Case For Treason What are your thoughts on this

ellir0305, I like your enthusiasm and passion for your new potential sport, you are asking all the right questions, and dare I say it, if you asked some shooters up in your necks of the woods, can you tag along with them just to see what happens at a clay shoot or a pigoen shoot, it would be great experience for you. There is some great advice about BASC, Mandogs suggestion of going to see that gun shop near you is an excellent one, just to what he has, you never know, you may fall in love with something in the shop. Anyway Good Luck from me.

I don't know a lot about breeding but I bet the dog will be a very clever dog, have you got any pics.

Deano, what are you playing at, you just sent me a nice PM and you apologised twice, which I accepted, I have replied and said I was angry at you and I have apologised in my PM for my outburst but where are you coming from writing Big man behind the keyboard bit, rest assured I would tell you to your face what I thought, please or offend. Just a bit of advice, maybe you should read all entries before you reply to them.

Get a life, you cheeky little twat. I asked what size do the pups become when fully grown, I got the answer myself. You don't have to thank me for the link to the the Country Channel TV to try and help you sell your pups, you prick.

Got the answer myself.

This is from the Country Channel TV, http://www.countrychannel.tv/player.php Click on Country Pursuits, then on Videos, then on Shooting, It's called a Wild about Coll Part 2, it's all about snipe and game shooting but you can see a young dog working, pointing retrieving and so on, very alert, full of running, good temperament, a very good looking dog indeed. It's good to watch it.

aprentis gamkeeper
SA1Gunner replied to finurz666's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management
finurz, I am not trying to tell you what to do fella, I like you style, nothing wrong in trying to make something happen for yourself, if you sit on your hands, you will be thinking the same thoughts in years to come, it is better to try and fail than not to try at all, you put the effort in and I think the right gamekeeper will give you a crack, voluntary to start, then in time you prove your worth you never know. This is what I would do if I were you, find out all about the gamekeepers within a distance you would be happy to travel, say 5 miles on a bike or 20/30 or 40 miles in car, if y -
Good luck fella.

Sorry to read such a sad entry fella and may you brother in law Rest In Peace. I hope this doesn't come across as selfish but if I were you, I would forget my own feelings for a couple of weeks and put all of my energies into the youngster and the wife, God this is terrible and we do all feel for you, I would do the best I could, in making the best out of a real bad situation for them both and when I had time to do so, I would also start to grieve. Over the next couple of weeks, you are going to have to be a rock for the people who loved your brother in law and will sadly miss him.

Very sorry to hear that fella.

Listen to Big Red's advice it's spot on, show your mother that you want to be responsible, ask her would she kindly get you air rifle insurance for Christmas, then join a club, you are bound to get some people there who will help you along. Good luck.

Lets Think Of The Elderly Who Are Poor and Needy
SA1Gunner replied to SA1Gunner's topic in General Talk
Well done Brooke, we all know how time consuming it can be preparing a couple of rabbits but you must feel really good about putting a smile on an elderly persons face. -
Greg, All of us would express the same concerns as Rob but if you tick all the boxes, I would recommend you consider a BSA Lightning XL Tactical, it's light at around 6.5 lbs, you wouldn't have to worry about filling it up, you could learn with this rifle, then move onto a PCP at a later date, if you wanted to. Just to let you know cheapest shop in the Country to buy a Tactical from is City Air Weapons Lincoln Ltd at £ 227. Take some time and look at the reviews of the rifles you are considering buying, this link is a review of the Xl Tactical http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews111459.html

Lets Think Of The Elderly Who Are Poor and Needy
SA1Gunner replied to SA1Gunner's topic in General Talk
It's nice to read so many of you are thinking about the elderly, it's a great thing to do and sadly in our communities today we don't do enough for them but I am sure, they appreciate the meat. -

Bill well done fella, you should feel proud of your actions. Cheers Ive always given a percentage of my catch to some of the old folk near me,they love it and are always appreciative. -
The recession is going to get worse and it maybe as bad as it was during the 1930's, if Britan becomes bankrupt, money will become really tight and if you have an excess quarry like pigeon, rabbit and so on, lets think about the elderly within our communities who would love to have the meat. Don't forget these are the people who made Britain Great.

Of all the foods I realy like to eat nothing puts a smile on my face like when my wife says, it's home made soup for dinner or tea. It's a food fit for Kings.

I bet your ferrets love them, my mouth is watering just thinking about the taste lol and they are high in protien. There are no sardines in my cupboard pity, so I am going to enjoy some tuna sandwiches lol.

Just asking the question, what the shot count in both. I have heard that quite a lot have gone back to BSA.
