    Oh come on, give us the details then? Exactly what i was gonna write......he kept that one quiet, i thought he said his dog never lost a race in its life............... well of course he would keep that quiet, hes not going to admit to KAT being beaten TWICE at the cornish championships - in the hurdles and tripple jump - by a dog that, well what does he say......"not a great breed, not my sort of dog and too big". But then it was unfair really that my boy won coz she was barged in a race before!!! Infact......my profile picture is of my dog beating his!!

    to have run the final in cornwall would have made no difference to the results...........i live and lamp down here and you would have to be out for 12 hours or more to see thousands of rabbits. at the end of the day the best dog on the night won - shit happens and we all have to lose at some point!! I think some people just need to chill out, feck me it is only a bit of fun and any true lurcher man or woman would just be happy with their dog doing their best and enjoy watching their dog do its job. The excusses for losing are very childish and dont make a true sports man!

    I live in Cornwall and so far i aint seen to many maybe 3 or 4 but i know we have it quite bad down here in some places...............but then some people will be greatful for it, at least their dogs will be able to catch something!!

    Thanks guys - i had it done in one sitting and it took 2 and a bit hours, It was taken from a photo of my dog. I can stand the pain but i dont want any background to it, reckon it will spoil it. Im loving the pictures of those that have similar tattoos and anyone thinking of having one done then do and put up your pictures for us to see!!! Oh yeah - i reckon the dog will scoop it up before it gets to the hole lads!!

    tigtht fistedness has nothing to do with it...being able to deal with a cut or a bump at the scene or as soon as you get home limits suffering as much as possible...having the knoledge to save you dogs life or to prevent further suffering is what id call a must for the serious dogman/hunter... my vet bills are pretty high as is i know my limits of what i can and cant do... when one of my dogs suffered a twisted gut this year i got him to the vets as i knew he only had a couple of hours to live tops..thankfully he did survive although the bill was £500 opening him up in the shoot carpark with

    My dog did the exact same thing only a couple of months ago.......cut it right off, it will hert the dog and bleed a little but cut it and cover it with some wound powder, after that bath it 3 times a day in detol and hot water - have the water as hot as the dog can put his foot in with 2 cap fulls of detol, soak the foot for 20 mins at a time. The nail will soon start to grow back. By leaving the quick exposed you are exposing it to infection - if you have any antibiotics at home, even if they are your own give the dog 1 a day for 10 days and keep to dry road work on a lead and walking o

No one can help the bloody weather or the ground or how many charlies and billies are out and about, it is just one of those things.....and as for all you people with a problem.....your not in the comp so what the hell you moaning about!     glad you said lasses as well!!! im in cornwall - bottom end of cornwall but lamp all over if i can!! I got a 3/4 greyhound and 1/4 belgium sheppard now 4 years old. (but his 12 months in the pic!) and he will run anything that moves!! pre ban of course!! why do you ask???????
