Hi guys, ordered my rifle, theres a waitng list and the earliest I can get it is 2nd week in december, I will probably end up part exchanging it if the price is half reasonable.
-
I agree, wish I had sold it a week ago now as someone took one look at the black finsh and offered me £675 for it but I ummed and arghed and now they have bought themselves a rifle.

Thanks for replies guys, I paid £560 for gun, £46 for silenser and £70 for swivel bipod so £666 all together. As a decent 410 is around £450 I was thinking of around £520 as there is still over 10 months left on the gurantee.......am now phoning around for the best price on the air wolf and seeing how long it will take to get one in( not sure if there is a waiting list) then I will put it up in the for sale section.

Hi guys, I am going to be selling my s510, its about 6 weeks old, had about 1500 .177 pellets through it. The scope I will keep but will let the bipod go with it and the secondary silencer. I am going to sell it because I am getting a Daystate air wolf tactical mvt. Its been a good rifle but need to shift it to fund my new one. Just wondering what I should be asking for it

As Davy said you need to try each rifle and see what you feel comfortable with. I have a 510, I had a 410 before that and in my opinion the 510 is the superior of the two. The 510 is a lot quieter than the 410 due to the fact it has a shrouded, floating and silenced barrel. The 410 has a standard bolt that I found noisy and not very smooth to operate, the 510 has a lever cocking system that is smooth, very quiet and easy to use while aiming. A friend of mine just bought a hw100, it's a very nice rifle, it's only drawback I can see is it's wieght as it is a bit heavier than the 510 and in my op

personally i think the lever system is better than the bolt, i have 2 AAS410 and the bolt action you have to be a bit aggressive to to lock n load still a great rifle but not as smooth as the lever system would like to compare and I'm seriously thinking of PX one of my AAS410 for a weihrauch 100s after trying it at the midland game fair i do like it over the s510. i tried the daystate hunter single shot but wanted to try the multi shot there is hardly any resistance in the trigger but still accurate but didn't feel comfortable with the rifle as i was with the wh100 just my opinion rega

It's not a new stock, it's the beech stock that I did black

Looking good maclean156 is that the stock you discussed in a previous thread? If so nice work very sleek Yes it's the one in the other thread, I spent a long time preparing it, it looks flawless and I'm well pleased

8.1 lb, thought it would feel heavy but it is very balanced and does not feel a heavyweight at all
-
Thanks for the offers guys but I decided I'm going to take it to my local shop and part exchange.
-
your so generous LOL
-
Thanks, thinking of selling it now LOL

I had a 410 and the bolt was noisy and stiff, the lever is one finger operation and smooth and quiet.

Hi guys, just thought I would post a pic of my rifle

You don't have to put air in from a bottle if you use all the air, just pull back bolt, attach pump and fill it, this allows the air to go in cylinder, however, there is no point in shooting once it gets much below 100 bar as power will reduce.

It's a spare stock in beech, the more I think about it I'm going to stain it black instead of painting it black, that way I will retain the wood look.
-
No it's not new, it's 4 weeks old.

Thanks........the stock is from my s510, so its ok to use a grey primer on the bare wood, was going to put about 4 to 5 coats of this on and rubbing down between coats and then spray black 5 coats with rubbing between coats and then using the varnish you recommended.Where do you get the matt varnish? I would have a look in B&Q for that sort of thing although I'm unsure if they do a spray version so buy the best like cuprinol quik dry etc. If you can't find a spray version then you could invest in a modelling type airbrush system to spray it. It sounds like you are good with painting et

Hi guys, need some advise please. I have a beech gun stock that I want to colour black. I was thhinking of stripping it with nitro mors to get it back to the bare wood, then spraying a primer onto it and then spraying it black. The primer and black spray I was going to get from halfords......is it ok to use their sprays? If so what do i use to protect the finish? any help would be appreciated...thanks
