  1. I have to agree about the 9mm sig, brilliant gun, when i was out in the states i used quite a few from the 9mm up to a snub nose smith and wesson .50 cal. but the sig was the best out of all the ones i used, the 45 cal was a good un also. mitch
  2. Good shooting davey ive got to ask which gun do you prefere the air arms or the weirauch. mitch
  3. 58 points in the airgun comp!!!!

ive got 2. keep it going and you'll win this comp

  4. Yeah it is you! . Heres a few photos from the last few days for you guys who are intrested in the competition, slight mix up on the dates ha but all good, missed a woddie tho well annoyed as i wanted it for dinner. Hit a 5mm branch infront of its head and it flew off gutted . total 58
  5. Hi there, yeah i have been buzzy haha some good shooting going on out there. Not sure where the jsb jumbos came from i was lucky, when i bought the gun there were £50 worth of pellets with it (bonus). So i went up to my permission and well pics speak a thousand words. Im chuffed . 2 points per rabbit = 16 total = 51 Cmon
  6. Hi sorry to hear about the mixy, After a lovely 5 hour drive home today i managed to get out for a few hours and managed to bag these. . I did take a bit of paper to put the date on but i forgot a pen, so its written in mud, haha you can see it if you look close. points today 4 Total 35. Ps has anyone used those jsb jumbos they whistle when you shoot them but fook me they hit like a hammer !!!!!
  7. Hi im away for the weekend so thought id squeeze in some hunting, glad i went my biggest bag ever. wanted to stay out all night but the bloody lamp battery ran out . . 2 points per rabbit = 16 total = 31. tryed a diffrent pellet tonight jsb jumbos, all i can say is ill be using them again. mitch
  8. tryed what you did and mine wil only just hit it at that distance its an S400 at 12 ft so whats the diff you tell me dont say its the sights will you please got them zero in well and while we are talking about this can any one tell me what the diff is from the s400 and the 410 apart from the 10 shot i mean. Hi j try it again but this time put a big piece of white card behind the can and you will see where your pellet is going, at longer distances the smallest bit of wind can affect the pellet. also have you cronoed your gun recently. thanks mitch .
  9. Had a few more tonight on a newish permission, this competitions wicked makes you go out and shoot. So whos in the lead so far then . mitch so 2 points per wabbit. 8 points. total= 15.

Hi i use a deben tracer atom with a red filter, find where the dirty little buggers have there runs and bait that area, liquidised catfood works a treat then sit and wait. The use of a dimmer switch on the lamp can be usefull as well. hope this helps. mitch
  11. Hi hope its not too late to join in on this comp, but here we go not too bad a start. Ive read through and im still not 100% sure on the point system. Total 7
  12. Hi i done some long rang shooting today, i filled up a old beer can with water and at yrds it went straight through the can easy. I had to aim 3 mill dots high but the air arms s410 put 4 holes in nearly the same place. I was quite impressed with it tomorrow im gunna try some even longer shooting. So im sure if you were a good enough shoot you would kill a rabbit at this sort of distance. mitch
  13. Cheers for the quick replys, I am confident that i will get it, i cant see why i wont, no criminal record or anything and also have land to shoot on. So i think its off to the gun smiths on the weekend for a cabinate. What should i expect to pay for a cabinate. thanks mitch
