    mainly because i still live at home and my dog has to be cat friendly as my mum has 4!! and i didnt wanting him attacking them in the same way he would a rabbit as one of the cats is a dwarf so (he could easily really hurt it) and your point being ??? if you get rid of the cats she might let you get another dog
