  1. The kennels at college get disinfected with either trigene or Safe4 Pets both are good multi purpose disinfectants. Edit to say don't put dogs back untill floor is dry if using trigene as it can be quite harmfull Safe4 is ok though but is quite expensive.

  5. Hi just got back from relay for life St Albans which lasted from 2pm saturday till 10am today, and I know this is a bit of a pointless thread but I have never been to any of these cancer research events but I am shocked at how good they really are and I done my bit and walked 9 hours and the other 7 members of my team walked 7 - 9 hours each aswell and we raised lots of money for it and I will post the final amount raised when I get the figures from out team captain. I was amazed that it was so touching and I am not one to show much emotion but it was hard not to shed a tear when they where re
  6. It might not come of a big suprise to you but it has to me. I went to get a quote on vesectomising 2 of my hobs and they said £200 per ferret. Is this a fair price as I think it is quite expensive. JoeD

  17. I am wanting someone to accompany me out ferreting on occasions, I know in the longnetting part of the section I said I wont trust people out ferreting with me again but I am willing to trust again aslong as they are keen and respectfull towards me, the quarry, and my equipment. If you have ferrets and nets then that would be great if not then you can help me with mine. I would prefer someone with a car but that isn't a problem if you don't and I do have a few bits of permission around my way. I don't mind what age you are aslong as you are trustworthy and won't go behind my back or poa

    Trust

The nets are ok now luckily but it took me nearly every night for the last week or 2 to untangle it and it boils my blood, fair enough people make mistakes and things happen but he didn't seem to even care, that net cost me about £ - £90 which I saved up for for ages and that is the most frustrating thing about it. And yes Steve I have become rather attached to my nets now. JoeD

    Trust

Never ever trust anyone with your longnet,I learnt that the hard way. I was out doing some ferreting about 2 or 3 weeks ago and some one from college tagged along, I asked him to bring my net as I had my 25yd net and my ferrets with me so I thought it would be easier to get him to take my other net and save me the trek back, anyway I walked ahead a bit and all of a sudden I heard a clonk I turned round and some poles had dropped out of the basket and onto the ground and had tried to put them back in the basket before I saw I was so pissed off that I couldn't untangle it there as it was jus
