  3. hehe, it was my own post that didnt make sense jawn, thats why i edited it and wrote "so i´ll try again", i understand what you meant and i agree with it.
  4. that post really did´nt make any sense, so im gonna try again: courage comes with brains, being a dumb f@ck does´nt make you brave.
  5. i have a hound like that, if scenting is bad due to snow/ice or there is little game around, he will face the wind and run untill he finds something to hunt.might be a good dog in your case, but i my case, well, i´m kinda tired of driving into sweden to pick him up theres more to a terrier than hunt drive, there should be a bit of brain in there as well, isnt that what courage really is, knowing the consequenses but going for it anyway? if people got into terriers purely for pestcontrol i think we`d have a whole different line of dogs around, and the honest, little foxbolter would be a v
  6. dispatch every time, but we have a lot of land
  7. more pics on page 5 http://nnlbloggen.neverneverland.se/#home.5
  8. no, it does`nt, i left a comment though, under the pic on their wall, i`ll let you know if they answer
  9. it also says in the blog that she is blind on the right eye, more pics http://nnlbloggen.neverneverland.se/#home.2 the reason for posting this in the first place is because of case in norway where a hound has been rehomed because of a mistake from the police, the organization that rehomed the dog won´t tell where the dog is, probably because they dont want it to be used for hunting.
  10. it says there are more pics of her on their blog, and that they´ve named her ella
  11. all of the dogs on these pages are picked up in ireland by the neverneverland foundation and brought to sweden for rehoming, thought maybe somebody might see a familiar face.
  12. i´ve been hearing a lot abouts dog stolen in the uk and ireland, and i came across these pages. its a swedish site that rehomes lurchers and greyhounds supposedly taken from travellers. http://www.(!64.56:886/pages/Djurskyddsföreningen-NeverNeverLand/339320435543?sk=photos http://www.neverneverland.se/

  16. probably me :laugh:easily the dogs best performance the fox weighed in at 15 pounds, should make a nice hat!
  17. good looking showdog, nice pics
  18. thanks, i´m guessing he`s around 16-18 pounds and has as thick a pelt as they can have in january.a buddy of mine has picked it up, said he`d skin it and make a hat for me
  19. another couple of firsts for loke and me.this one wouldnt budge so i dug him out on my own, my first solo dig and the first fox i`ve ever dug. on another note, the two foxes i´ve shot for him have given him a harder beating then any of the badgers we´ve dug with him.
  20. started reading del camerons-call of the hounds two days ago and is half way through it. excellent book about cat and bear hunting with bluetick hounds in northwest usa(mountain lion, bobcats, canada lynx, black bears and even wolverine) makes me wish we had more game that would tree! looking forward to 1. of february and the opening of the lynxseason, 13 cats can be taken in the area i´m going to hunt
  21. out with an old fellow and his smaalandsstovare(http://www.smalandss...List&category=1)on the first day of the new year. it was snowing in the morning, but found some promising tracks, hound trailed half a mile before he caught up with him, 10 minutes later he went to ground. thanks to the gps we knew exactly where he went, so picked up the terrier from the car and let him go to work. 20 mins later he bolted and was shot, which is what we were hoping for. first fox for the dog who has only seen badgers before, and also the first fox for me. check out the smaalandsstov
