  1. Yes, I was , tell your lad he’ll have to watch him, might just have to smuggle him into my jacket next time when your not looking :11: , he’s a little belter . Here’s the pic I took of him .
  2. He's an absolute cracker I think he's great , total mentalist  just how a terrier should be :11: :clapping: .
  3. Had a look out last night with Pointer, managed a few, they were hard won but worth it . Here's a few pics of what we have to work with :11: .
  4. Well I'm still going out on a night just don't bother putting up pics as it's too hard to get any action shots. I did manage to have a few for my Birthday, we were back home for lunch time . Just got back from an hours ratting, only got three, a few got away and a pic of a few dead rats isn't very exciting but Pointer has recruited a friend so hopefully I will be able to stand back a bit and get a few pics next time .
  5. Thanks everyone for the nice comments and Birthdays wishes, it was a great laugh . As for Pointer well what can I say, he knows how to treat a woman .........NOT. I was going with or without him, the tight git didn't even get me a card :11: .
  6. Had a ride out this morning with Pointer and my nephew to see our friends for a spot of rat bashing at the pig farm. We found a new place where the rats have taken up residence behind some boards and we weren’t expecting the amount of rats to all bolt at once (around 20 ) after only one board being moved. People, rats and dogs everywhere :11: so few managed to escape but we will be prepared next time. A good couple of hours with great company and lots of laughter .
  7. Just got back from an hours ratting with Pointer, managed three with the dogs and he shot two .
  8. This man had what he thought was the best tattoo in the world... until he went to prison
  9. Had a quick look out last night to a local farm for a spot of ratting, only stayed for around half an hour as we had my nephew staying and it was getting late .
  10. That's a cracking looking pup , oooo I want one too , she's lovely . If she turns out as good as she looks she will be a belter .
  11. Thanks big marty, sounds like you had a good night. Good luck with the pup . Was a bit chilly but we had a good time , pics didn't come out bad at all for a phone :11: , will make sure my batteries are sorted in the camera next time . Sorry to hear about Duke he did seem alright at the time, hope he picks up soon .
  12. Thanks everyone for the comments . It was a good laugh with great company :friends: . I know my nephew loves ratting and can't wait to go again . Photo's were taken with my phone, it's probably better than my camera :11: .
  13. Pointer and I had a ride out this morning to see our friends for a spot of ratting at their permission. We had two little helpers, my nephew and their son and they both seemed to really enjoy themselves . Camera batteries died at the start, then my mobile died but managed to get a few photo’s and an EOD pic before it did. A couple of cold but eventful hours with great company and 17 rats in total .
  14. Always nice if the farmer lends a hand, well done .
  15. Looks like you had a nice mooch Toka, well done Bilbo , keep doing what your are doing as he seems to be coming along great .
  16. Well said . FFS people, get a grip :realmad: . I am so sick of hearing negative comments about Plummers by most people that have never owned one or seen what they can do, Plummers are excellent versatile and intelligent terriers just like most other breeds of terrier . Yes there are some people out to make money but there is in all breeds  and I see far more other breeds up for sale compared to Plummers . P.S. No I don't think you missed anything CS, I can't see anything wrong with the other post either .

  19. The dogs seem to have got the knack of it , good haul , exactly what you want the farmer to see to secure future visits, well done .
  20. Excellent news , hope he the thief learnt his lesson . Just wish all the stolen dog storys ended with the dog(s) being found and returned to their rightful owner .

  24. I am a facebooker too, helps me keep in touch with old school mates but I don't really bother with the applications. The one thing that drives me nuts about it is I have a friend that is a serial status updater, every 5 minutes she updates it with what she is doing .
