If you haven't already, get it on Facebook, set a page up with pics & contact details. Some people don't like it but it's the biggest social networking site & worth a try. Put a link on here & everyone can join & send it to their mates, it will soon be everywhere in the country, worked for one lad a while ago when his pup was stolen. Hope you get your dogs back .

I use three and update/run them each week. AVG, Malware Bytes & Spybot, all free, each detect different types of infections, malware is good for detecting adware if you are watching/downloading programmes online .

Good on you for taking the ferret in , probably would have done the same, bit of a softie too , hope she is alright . I can’t stand people like that :realmad: , shouldn’t be allowed to own anything  . My ferret died on boxing day, I had him years & I don’t have a clue how old he was when I got him, he was kind of a rescue, my friend found him wondering around his back street & brought him here, he was a big polecat & very well natured & although I don’t want another one, I do miss him  . Couple of pics.

yer the kennel dont look grate its just old bits of ply i put together ive got £400 kennels wid a run and all he dose is winge and howl when his locked up so i put him in that box with some straw and a chain and dont hear a peep out ov him its weird that is weird, persevere with the good kennel then mate. dod living in that 1 will knacker it. jmo and no a dig at all  agreed. But if the dog won't settle there's nothing wrong with the kennel as such but it needs to be bigger for a dog that size so he can strech out and maybe an old coal sack or something over the front

Had a ride out with Pointer this morning for a bit of ratting at a pig farm with our friends :friends: . We had two hours of fun jumping around like loonies  but I think we got most of the rats. No time for action pics, only end of day pic minus several rats that the dogs ate  .

Had a ride out this morning with Pointer for a bit of ratting with friends. Due to traffic we were a bit late so we met them at the farm only to find them in the farmhouse having a cup of tea and a bit craic with farmer so we joined them before we started :11: . Didn’t manage to get any photos inside the buildings as all hands on deck were needed . We took two terriers, one terrier pup, one lurcher and our friends had their terrier and lurcher. Sixty rats plus a few little ones the dogs ate  , four tired people and

An hours ratting this afternoon
Hedge_hunter27 replied to Hedge_hunter27's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
It's great seeing the dogs work together, good luck in putting your pack together Staffs . Sound advice wirral for a newbie to the sport just glad I'm not and I know better . We all wear gloves and keep well covered, he took them off for the pic as his hands were starting to sweat and bring out his eczema and he knows better than to touch his face or get too close to the dog it's just the angle of the pic . I would never risk him or anyone else we go ratting with, I even supply gloves to the couple we go with . -

Too true Fireman, ratting every time . We were going to take Fudge but she is in season and I don't think mutch ratting would have been going on :11: it's driving Nipper up the wall, poor lad. -
Go to your local show or go ratting?

We had a geat time, everyone. The poor lad in the shorts didn't have a choice, we picked his wife up on the way, met him at the farm and she had the key to the house  :11: . He still joined in though  . -
We usually go to the local terrier and lurcher show today but decided shows are fairly crap so late yesterday afternoon Pointer organised some ratting with friends instead. Arrived at the farm at around 12.30ish and helped the farmer put a shed up while we were waiting for one of our friends to arrive . Started ratting around 1.15p.m. It was a bit manic, no time for action pics, rats were trying to escape up the pipes but we got them back down with sticks, managed quite a few little ones but the lurcher and the terrier pup swallowed a few which the pup decided to regurgitate in back of m

Thanks everyone, it's much appreciated . Practice makes perfect as they say :11: . It is harder when someone else is lamping for you to get the angle right just need a mount and dimmer switch for my lamp then I will be sorted :11: .

This first pic is off the other week, it was the first time I had shot something live with my gun . Had a ride out with Pointer and his mate on Thursday night to a local spot for an hours ratting. We had a look around the barns with the dogs and they managed three , then I had a look around with Pointer and my gun . Managed to shoot seven but could only get these bodies back.

Had a ride out last night with Pointer and his mate for a bit of ratting. Decided to take my gun for a try out . Pointer and his mate went for a run around the barns with the dogs and I waited at my pickup and loaded my gun. I could see a rat poking it’s head out of a drain so I waited, took aim straight for the head and pulled the trigger, the rat fell back down the drain and took some getting out, I was well pleased with myself as that was the first live thing I have shot . Pointer and his mate returned and the dogs had managed to get a few. We put the dogs back in the car and I sh
