  1. It's illegal simple as. . . . . . do it if you want, but be prepared to face the consequences if you get caught.
  2. Haha, i'm a photographer so it's really the only way i can get a decent picture of myself, smiling because i feel like an idiot doing it!
  3. Thanks he's Beddy Whippet and a dash of greyhound.
  4. Picked up this pup for my friend today, and am taking it down to his house tomorrow. However my 8mth lurcher has fallen completely in love with her, keeps carrying her into his bed!! Very cute!

I don't think he was trying to start a discussion on disrespectful dog walkers. . . . . i think he literally just wanted to know if the sign is legally binding. Probably through nothing more than interest! Chill peeps!
  6. So sorry for your sad news, yes she could have had a few more years, but a working dog unable to work is like a life prison sentance. You chose to do the selfless thing and let her go with her dignity. Doesn't ever make it any easier though. Take care.xx
  7. Interesting read. I work my dogs on a flirt stick to help build muscle and fitness when twisting, it's amazing what this exercise can take out of them, My bitch when she 1st started on it, after 1/2 mins was done. I have built her up over time and she can now happily go for 10 mins on the flirt, however like anything, i think it's everything in moderation. She trains on the stick normally twice a week, and has free running everyday, jump training, ball retrieve and swims 3 times a week. I do all this with her not so she's fit to work, but purely to keep her mentally and physically stimulated
  8. Hi, I'm so sorry for being in touch, had computer problems! Dec 7th is fine with me for the shoot, although i understand if i've left it to late and you've found someone else? Just let me know either way so i can book the day. Thanks Hannah.xx
  9. It all depends on time really, like i said i'll be down the New Forest working all hut season, but will actually be based in Thame, near Oxford. So the midlands wouldn't be a problem at all. I don't mind traveling it's just making sure it's a convenient time and doesn't intrude with my work too much! Have you got a date in mind?? If your going for the 2010 calender than there is no massive hurry, might be an idea to take maybe 3 models in dec, 3 in jan etc etc, that way you'll get different countryside and seasonal change. If some of the models are unable to travel then we could
  10. This kind of thing is the sort of stuff i take of the hunt. . . . . . imagine similar but with the girls hair loose, no jods, just the boots!
  11. I'm a photographer and 90% of my work is photographing fox hunting and out door shoots. Will help out if needs be.
  12. Thats all that really counts Certainly looks a handy bitch. Too many are blinded by breed, I myself am, I can't stand bull breeds, but nothing against others owning them. Thanks Paid.
  13. I stopped posting on this thread yesterday when my dog was laughed upon as a working dog. As i have said previously my Dalmation X is the best dog i've ever had and her agility/ability in a range of sports astounds me and most that have met her. I was never trying to start an argument but seemingly being on this sight and not knowing everything there is to know about Lurchers, makes you a sitting duck to critisism. I joined the sight to learn things and further my K9 knowledge, stupidly maybe on my part. It's nice to see that there are some open minded people on here that will advice and o
  14. Awesome horse, dressage at its' absolute best.
  15. I agree with you, mine are not true working dogs, they do a huge range of sports and exercises, including hunting rabbits. For me thats enough. I was just saying what a lot of guys that have a far greater knowledge of lurchers than myself, have said about the Dalmation X, when they're seen her work, because it was topical to the thread.
  16. Everyone has different needs in a dog, my hairy nutcase suits mine just fine! Each to their own.
  17. Unfortunately no, as i had her spayed before i got into lurchers and hunting. Her litter sister lives in the next village and as long as i could find homes for the pups, they said they'd let me breed her.
  18. Yeah, not being able to keep up with the local Bull X's all got too much for her.
  19. I'm sure they do Wilf. . . . although i doubt they share the same level of comedy genius as you.
  20. Here is a couple of my big, fast, hairy, nutcase! Dalmation X Bearded Collie
