  3. Hi Greyman I had a good think about this before I did it, I even started a topic about it recently. I went for polishing in the end with dry slide as lube. I fired about 200 pellets earlier and it's creeping up to upper 550 fps/10.6 ftlbs so I'm happy at that.

  5. Yes I got some washers in the kit. Will sort it tonight if I get time. I wasn't expecting to need them to be honest.

  7. Polished out cylender.... Polished piston and sized down vorteck seal... Opened up cocking link for smoother cocking.... The wd drop in kit is longer springed .177 kit to up the power
  8. Well the parts have all arrived!.... And the drop in kit is soo well made cut to right lentgh finished perfect and even pre lubed and ready to drop in. Well happy..... I'm working in the living room today iv got blue tits checking out the bird box and don't want to miss the action!....

  13. Iv just drifted out the old solid rivet, it was a right bugger to get out. Its out now tho I had to use a bigger hammer. The new quick release bolt slid in lovely and looks great.

  15. Yes iv heared charlie caller mention them sounds good I asked my mate for some today he is looking in his garage tonight. Ill probably order some if he doesn't have any and give that a go instead. Thats why I ordered the quick release pivot bolt so I can experiment just by undoing it, pop the trigger out and back off.... even easier!
  16. Well after my imp started making a funny noise on cocking (still shot mint) I stripped it and had a while thinking. It was pretty nasty inside marked cyl, bent spring and shards off the cocking shoe and burnt grease in front of the piston seal so I wanted to see if I could get it better shooting too. Its seen a lot of pellets though it now so due some tlc. So far my plans... Iv stripped the gun a few weeks ago and each night polished out the cyl to a point now its like a mirror. Done an hour so each night carefully polishing by hand with a dowel while watching tv (and constantly been t

  21. Hi Richard have you pushed the sear latch in the trigger into cocked position before putting the trigger unit into the gun? Then fired the trigger before trying to cock it? Edit - oops ignore that I just read again and you did.)
