  1. Very nice! Glad this has gone or I would have been in trouble for buying 2 guns in a week lol.
  2. I have one they are great! Real little charecters. If you get one get it a wheel - the hogs on wheels ones are great mine runs all night on it and it's silent. They do stink tho lol.
  3. Holy sh!t how awful. Sad news. Seemed a top bloke. Sending my sincere condolences.
  4. I just gone the other way. From a landrover defender for many years to an audi tt (gonna walk off road from now on obviously lol) One of the best things iv done. Weekends spent relaxing instead of fixing it and spending £££ stockpiling parts. Reliability is everything (if you use it daily) If your xtrail is reliable and will be s lot easyier to get parts for then you all ready have a good Un. The grass isn't always greener on the other side! Would probably been better buying jap to begin with.
  5. Had one of these too. A girl at work said she was selling her husbands gun for 100 quid. I said I'll have a look. She braught it and it was a bloody s310. Mmmm go on then I'll have it I said. Lol. Was years ago too when they where new. She said they wanted it out of the house. Had scope, mod bag and too - bargain or what!
  6. £811 (did loads of ot) for the month. Back in 2002 aged 17 and in the middle year of my college course. Was on the pig unit on a morning then in the grain store until late watching the grain cleaning/moving equipment running and filling the auger pit. My first purchase was a brand new air arms tx200 and that kept me in food and fun for the next 18 months. They where the best days of my life.
  7. The raptor name mean's it's a multishot. Spot on there Tom. I much prefer the single shot version though. Managed to get one in .20 in light hunter stock. Very nice Gun Might treat myself to a single shot fn12 soon. FN range are bloody ace guns in all their forms.
  8. The raptor name mean's it's a multishot.
  9. Got a lump in my throat when I read this. Sincere condolences.
  10. That sounds great! A rare thing to enjoy. Is there any streams nearby? If so then maybe a nice little eel spot too?
  11. A roach from the Leeds and Liverpool canal in Leeds on my 6th birthday with my new tackle I'd just got. It was the best birthday ever! Only a few ounces but my most memorable fish - can still see it in my mind now 27 years later!
  12. Nice bit of satisfying handy work!
  13. Looks like a great interesting trip out, rounded off nicely meeting piano man too! A day to remember. There was a spitfire flying about last month in North Yorkshire. A very nice thing to watch!
  14. FAC air is awesome. Iv had 70+ yard rabbits ect with mine and the flatter trajectory makes night time shooting a lot easier. The extra impact from the added power is also a big confidence booster. I would recommend trying one you would love it.
  15. Very nice mark! Will be great to hear your findings I'm thinking about one of these too.
  16. Very nice. I remember perving over this and the brocock fox about the same era.
  17. Coffee granules are good, they love it and can smell it a mile off.
  18. Bloody he'll nice bag! Would be pleased with that with my 20 bore. Top shooting!
  19. Awful wait I remember on my application. When that usual brown envelope the firearms department uses is on the matt and you get all exited only to find another bill lol. Good things come to those who wait. Frustrating! You will get there. What airgun are you thinking of?
  20. Very very nice! And a bargain for someone.
  21. I think they where made late ,'s early 90,s. A few school mates had them in the late 90,'s. One of mine was a rare long barreled .177. The short barreled .22 with the knurled muzzle weight are a thing of bueaty!
