  1. Will keep you busy, also happy birthday Jimmy! Is that a paratrooper?
  2. I was doing your vodka wash idea too - with turbo yeast and turbo clear in 25l batches. I was flavouring with soda stream flavours. Wow that was strong tasty stuff! and cost hardly anything to make.
  3. As a man who served his country and makes respectful humane and informative shooting videos for beginner and experienced shooters alike he should not have to explain in his self in anyway on both fronts. Cheers for the great video's si
  4. Yes feed them too get through kilos of sunflower hearts and dried mealworms. Last week I stocked up on 50 quids worth. We get robin's, sparrows, blue tits, collard doves and mega flocks of gold finches. As soon as I hear the Robins at dawn soon followed by goldfinches I know the seasons changed. Never see either through the summer.
  5. That gun is one of the best iv ever owned. Whoever buys it will be well happy.
  6. I think these old guns are starting to make a comeback. Still very usable like classic cars and bikes!

I did this 7 years ago not lamping but in the house (without the waistcoats) i sent my whippet to her then (my now wife) told her to go lie down, then said what's that? And called her to come back. She accepted. We married after 7 years engagement on Saturday just gone.
  8. This is one hell of a gun/combo - I used to own it. All the best with the sale that is a complete bargain too!
  9. The landowner of my perms say "plug um and take um" free of charge too! Been going years iv ferreted it and shot it years and had the privelage of shooting them for free for years. Some farmers hate them who grow corn and dont have an intrest in running a shoot.
  10. I love seeing made in West Germany stamp on a German gun. Built before the Berlin Wall came down and made when the quality was at their best.
  11. Wow a mod 50 late 1970s if I remember what the owner told me of the only one iv seen in the flesh very rare I think?. Shot one of these in my youth was very nice!
  12. what carts do you put through the hushyStandard Ely vip so far (have a lot to get through) and still quiet. Going to order some subs through just cartridges soon.ive got the 410 hushy at moment but seen a 20g so going to do a trade in . i wanted a 20g fromstart but couldnt get my hands on one Go for it they are great! 14. Wow crazy looking gun - You have suddenly made me feel better, as iv been using a synthetic pump action 20 bore hushpower all the time. Just doesn't feel right but is soo effective!
  15. For that budget I'd look at the falcon fn range and a pump. Free air and a reliable super accurate gun. Simple and great build quality and thats the reason they are still shooting as well now as the day they where built in the 1990,'s.
  16. Awsome! What a woman and what a gun! Looking forwards to hearing your thaughts on it. One of the nicest looking guns ever made. Ps happy birthday for next week!
  17. T67 hand held obviously not 2 torches mounted to gun! For a mega cheap powerful torch try one of these....... Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122676167317 Quite a nice little torch for sub 12 airgun hunting.
  18. For my set up I used red t20 on gun and red t67 for spotting long distance to see what's about and save my legs from a long walk. Also had good results with £3 odd white light torche's!
  19. No wires as in to a battery on your waist. A nice pigs tail switch from the back of the torch to you forend does not get in the way.
  20. Personally I'd go for a torch such as a t20 or t67 with coloured LED,s. Light weight and no wires I'd never touch another wired lamp again.
  21. Wow I didn't know this happened at other places. Shooters should stick together and help each other no matter what age or what gun you have!
  22. Ace. Heart warming. There's some judgemental people out there. Great story. Just shows you should never judge any one as I never do.
  23. There is a range near me. I joined a few years ago and went a couple of times. It was very uncomfortable and clicky every time. I don't know why. I was very respectful and polite to everyone and was looking for someone I could take to my perms. They even took the piss as I was using a rusty 97. It was home fettled and doing the business in the field and was shooting great groups while I was there. I was called "kiddy" "scuffy" and all sorts they obviously diddnt know I'd just milked 220 cows. I bet I was the most seriously into shooting person in the shed with perms they where talking about t
