  1. Very nice! And Good luck in the morning!
  2. From memory there is a grub screw on top of the scope rail remove it and the tray slides back revealing the barrel/block screw. The second barrel block screw is under a blanking plug near the back of the scope rail. The tray then slides out of the back. I hope this makes sense! If the tray is stuck spray it with wd40 and give the back a few taps and bang the rear on the carpeted floor to hopefully to shock it free. That' how I got mine out.

    Sleep?

I do 3 shifts rotattng. 6-1:30 1:30-9 9 -6. But end up doing 12 hours 6-6 a lot of the time rotating days then nights and working weekends. My sleeping pattern if horific and suffer from the changes big time. Often do lates to earlies too. Hard life but done it 12 years now. Luckily I can do my job (printing) on auto pilot now.

  7. Thanks for the link si but iv got a new to me airgun that iv hardly even used yet so I shouldn't buy another one just yet.

  10. Good luck with both counts! What detector do you use?
  11. Still not been out with it properly yet, not had a day off since buying it. I will stick a post up when I finally get out to use it - I can' wait! That stock looks nice and practical, wipe clean like the hw110. What about camo dipping it like the hw100?
  12. I just found you the phone no. You need for the vorteck piston seal it is.... 07912 466 917 he posts very fast and accepts paypal and the seal is same cost as a standard HW one. Make sure you Polish the end of the cocking link too so it slides smoothly up and down the cyl cut out and lightly grease it and a bit the delrin insert that slides up and down the outside of the cyl too. Also make sure it is spotless and no metal swarf (iv had one start to score inside and need to strip and re-polish it all again from the tinyest bit of swarfe somehow found its way back in there and the
  13. Very nice! Your new gun looks amazing. Atb.
  14. His maxwell here is my opinion on the 99. Iv had 2 and loved them both. It' one of the easiest guns to work on ever, a pleasure to work on infact. Here' a guide on stripping them My preferrd set up after much playing about i' as follows... Tbt drop in kit with guides sized to the supplied spring. It will need cutting and the spring end finishing like this..... Strip your gun and Polish everything including the cyl and spring ends to a mirror with wet and dry to 1500 grit. Put the latch of your piston into a drill and spin it at his speed to Polish it as

Looks a nice gun after a bit of reaserch looking at the reviews.
  17. I was thinking about this the other day I had lots of sucess with my webley tracker and bsa mercury chalenger in the late 90, with marksman pointed pellets that where my full £2.50 pocket money alowance a week. The most exiting shooting I ever had I hope your new compato gives you good service! Atb.
  18. Sounds amazing villaman I bet you wont sleep much until Thursday! Sounds a real good pice of kit!
  19. No jammehh ness about it. He has made the big effort to meet the fac requirements and waited long enough to get his fac certificate. But well worth it! wish you good shooting villaman.
  20. Very sorry to hear that! A special gun that deserves the best treatment and treasuring.
  21. Very nice. Tack drivers! Atb with the sale.
  22. Just wanted to say thank you. It's great, and very accurate. Chuffed to bits. Thanks again. All the best. Tom.
  23. Very nice mark. I spent a long time this evening sat at a roost on my cold back side with a moderated pump 20 bore. 2 crows I dropped and nothing came afterwards, it still causes quite a commotion. I think I need some airgun practice like this! I think a hw100 in .177 and some range time is needed next.
  24. Brilliant villaman iv not been on for a while but it seems you have been waiting forever. I bet you can't wait to get your gun and get out with it, you have waited long enough! Happy hunting and all the best with it!
