  1. Its annoying been called lad, repeatedly by someone who is only 10 years older than you when their input into the situation is pathetic and making things worse is annoying.
  2. Hi! Only using my armsan a612 when I get out. Not that I had much time to go since feburary been too busy printing covid related stuff. Hope you been keeping well ?
  3. I have heared some sh!te come out of managers mouths such as.... Blue sky thinking, thinking out of the box,s etc. I think some people try sound clever as deep down they know as managers they actually are well out of touch of what's going on and lack the knowlage and skills to to the job of the person they are instructing.
  4. Really sorry to hear this jimmy ? iv lost my best family members like this. It only happens to the best people. I dread to think how it must feel when its your daughter - it doesnt even bear thinking about. Keep getting outdoors is great for your mental health. Your in my thoughts. Wish you and your family all the very best.
  5. Looks great let us know how you get on when you fish it.
  6. Just read through this and I'm made up for you, good luck with it what a great thing to do! Hope you have fishing rods at the ready ?
  7. I put one of these on my last 2 airguns. Very simple, basic and cheap I know. I used to hate richter scopes but I love these. Really clear, really fine mil dot reticule, always held zero on my 95 and PCP. Plenty enough for sub 12. When I get another airgun ill get one of these. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351865690208
  8. Thats a nice read, I knew a place like that. Have some great memories fishing there. We used to wait quietly for a silt cloud and flick a freelined lobworm into it and wait for the line to go. They where around 4 lbs but we thaught they where huge back then and they fought hard. When we float fished maggot we could catch some nice crucians and stickle backs. We never caught any other species from it tho. I went to look at the place a couple of years ago and its a car park for some fancy newbuilt apartments. Massive shame. the place had great crested newts too.
  9. Sounds like great fishing you are doing there! Atb. Tom.
  10. Exactly! I bet there's some good fish hiding in there. The pond in the nearby wood is supposed to have some real nice old carp in too both connected to a beck to the river so hopefully some good eels too.
  11. Its literally heaven I use my mountain bike to get there with rucksack and rod strapped to my bike. I love places like this. There's another in the woods nearby to explore next.
  12. Great topic! I love small hidden ponds. I recently moved away from semi urban leeds and completely moved areas to be out by the countryside. After a bit of riding my mountain bike exploring I found a unfished pond. After trying to find the owner and asking in the nearest fishing shop its only £17 for the year. Iv been down there a lot and never seen anyone at all. Having a great time there I don't think these fish have ever been caught....
  13. Bloody good bloke I had my 95 done by tony I was made up too. Do you know what piston seal he used? He stuck with the hw seal on mine as it shot better.
  14. The other night I was on nights and my wife said she can hear a cricket in the garden, in all the years and time I spend out an night iv never heard this..... Does anyone else hear these? And any info? I think i have ID it as a southern field cricket? In in leeds, yorkshire so very rare up here if that's the case?
  15. In my opinion look at baikal hushpower single. The 410 mossberg pump is long front heavy clacky anoyingly noisy overpriced lump of poo poo. Don't waste your hard earned. The baikal is lot quieter. A real gem.
  16. Oh wow my kind of place! Where abouts in the country are you?
  17. Really interesting Hullman, I fished a pond stuffed with tadpoles in the edge and fished a bait on the bottom of a ledge at the shallow end where I usually got them from this place. Not a touch, but I knew they where there. A prawn under the rod tip in inches of water at the shallower part I was into them. I think they where after tadpoles and came across my bait. Eels never cease to amaze.
  18. Nice one Rob!! I am made up for you. What Bait did you get it on?
  19. Hi matt! Both had sporter stocks. Both mega accurate but I cannot explain why I just diddnt seem to like them.
