Had a few tetleys and reminiscing about old airgun times. Iv never gone out deliberately without telescopic sights (apart from the 4x20s on my early guns as a child) but in the farm office i worked at i was a 18 year old in 2000. I wouldn't bother keep it standard. Give it a good internal polish use nice tight spring guides and use TBT bum slide on the piston skirt with original piston seal. Iv messed about with these a lot amazing guns and as standard. Don't follow the imp ideas iv had one and stripped it the insides are something I won't digress. A simple diy tune as above will match one. Don't cut the barrel down! A muzzle weight would be of a lot more use instead of a moderator. Seriously.

True lol I'm at work on my phone on the sly so may not of read it properly ? but the rifles i mentioned are easily adjusted. I regularly adjusted my excalibure from low power to 28 in mins with a quick re zero.

The raider/excalibure/fx2000 guns are easy to adjust with transfer port grub screw. Alternatively use a pellet trap.

Pretty odd to read this, I woke up about an hour ago after working nights. I was having some dreams about fighter jets. I am laid in the bath now and I look on plane finder app and see this!........ Must be some sort of training exercise going on, they are all eurofighter typhoons. The noise of them somehow made me dream about them!

I got a black out blind and an eye mask have you tried that? I know what you mean its not natural, on a Monday morning after my 1st night shift my heart beats for some reason at a crazy speed when I get in bed. I still get up early morning on Sunday after a week of days so my body is not ready for been awake 24 hours +

I feel your pain, I do 12 hour shifts. For the last year its been 1 week days (5 shifts) 1 week nights (4 shifts sun- wed sometimes thurs night too) rotating. its hard to get to sleep no matter what shift. I find a cup of tea on a morning after nights helpful and watch a fishing program on my phone in bed helps me relax and think about future fishing trips helps me nod off. No drinking after midnight during my shift. If I wake up for a wee thats it I'm up then the tiredness cycle begins, then the mouth ulcers start... then you are buggered.

Thats great to hear, good times ahead - the best friends you can ever get. I can't go anywhere in the house/garden without mine following me. I don't mind I love them a lot! Best friends we can ever have.
