Great good luck I'm sorry if I am telling you what you allready know I don't want to be condescending. As a new pass myself if you see a road you don't like the look of keep going let it recalculate and take the next one. If you have no option look at the trees to see if they have been brushed back by hgvs if they have go down. When in built up areas before turning down look right down as far as you can and make sure no one has parked like a bell end and blocked your way.

You can have a 15 min rest and a 30 min rest to have a 45 but not a 30 and a 15 (I hope that makes sense)

Just remember you can drive 4.5 hours and a break is needed you can do 6 hours with other work (as long as you don't drive more than 4.5 hours in that time) then a break of 45 mins is needed. If your drive time hits 4 hours look for a parking place don't push it unless your familiar to the area - you might find nowhere to park. You can pull into services and have a break for up to 2 hours for free normally. Sorry if If you allready knew that I'm new to this too I only started 5 months ago. If you need a sat nav immediately until your propper one arrives use an app on your phone called road lords it is free and great, put in your height, weight and lentgh that will get you going. If you need areas to sleep in or tacho break use the app truckfly for laybys etc let the map load and tap on the parking spot you want - if you have road lords installed (or sygic) it will go onto them automatically. When using the address from truckfly for the layby delete everything up to and the @ symbol so you only have the grid reference points. Tap go and they will take over. Truckfly is a really g

They are fantastic and big screen is easy to see quickly, also does chevrons across the screen before turns so you can have volume off if you prefer. I end up all over the country and I'm crap with directions this think keeps me on the fastest and best route it is a real lifesaver......

It's straight forwards you will be fine, when you start your training get into the routine of loads of mirror checking and when you pass get a new hgv tomtom and put in your lentgh, weight and height. They are a lifeline! Watch out for idiots on the roads and I wish you the best of luck!

I did mine recently straight to Class 1 and then changed career to be a hgv driver. Best thing iv ever done the peace and freedom is great. You get to see some awsome countryside and travel the country. Can be tough sleeping in laybys tho.

Also fitted a custom bolt and 3d printed swing out single shot loader. It's pellet on pellet with biz mags at 30 yards. Also has a hw moderator. Great little gun! I'd reccomend one. It was good standard but I was only getting 35 shots per fill and inconsistent as standard.

With a 3mm transfer port and a ultra light hammer spring (1mm soft wire from china) After butchering many springs (good job I baught 10) flattened and polished the end of the hammer spring. I got it set with zero preload and shimmed the valve spring 5mm and I'm getting 70 shots at 11+ ft lbs. For anyone looking for a tinkering project id reccomend one. It was just over £200 quid I think. I baught instead of a hw99.

Hi guys! Iv had this stormrider a while now as standard. I fitted an altaros regulator but it was set too high (great reg but markings where innacurate) Iv had it apart maybe 8 times in the last few weeks. After much messing about I got the reg as low as possible....

This is by build (750w) discreet and powerful. Thumb throttle with quick disconnect then it becomes road legal. Great for taking the dog out.
