  1. Hello All, I have re-zeroed my HW100 .22 at 25 yards, after using 'Chairgun' with the JSB exact pellets 25 yards was the optimum range listed. Normally I zero at 28 yards, went out today and could not hit a thing, struggled to gauge any range with hold over and hold under, i would have had more luck throwing my rifle at the rabbits today..!! Normally I shoot very good, my question is, is 'Chairgun' any good? John...
  2. Hello All, I have a pair of Lundhags Scout boots, now called Forest, they are fantastic boots, hand made in Sweden and worth every penny of the cost. I have gone through a whole shooting/beating season in the wet and not leaked once, no tex liners, they are light and comfortable, absolute quality. I agree with WILF, look after your boots and they will look after you..!! John...
  3. Hello All, As anyone got or used the above gun light?, it is the scope mounted with a green LED gun light kit. It is for my HW100 when out rabbit shooting at night. Thanks John...
  4. Hello All, I have been given 4 tins of Falcon .22 accuracy plus (5.52) pellets, as anybody used them I am told they are a lighter version of the AA field Diablo, made by Air Arms? Are they any good for my HW100 for rabbit and squizzer shooting? Thanks John...
  5. Lundhags, Swedish hand made boots, great boots.
  6. Lundhags Scout/Forest all the way, best boots I ever owned.
  7. I have two Simmons WTC 3.5-10x50, cracking scopes, lovely fine recticles, great optics too, problem is no multi aim point, but I am used to that a can guess very accurately hold over/under. Great finish on the scope and built like tonka toys..!!
  8. The Bisley Magnums (.22) knocked the Rabbits down drop dead, not one runner. Like I say I was surprised compared to the AA fields the drop on zero was not much at all, I was expecting quiet a lot to be honest.
  9. I own a FN19 Lighthunter with the Hawk cocking action for best part of 15 years now, had it serviced by Air Arms (own Falcon now) did a cracking job, changed all seals, springs, screws, hammer etc, set it up lovely. A cracking rifle, like above, light, accurate and very under rated, would not sell mine, love it.
  10. Hello All, Just got in from tonights shooting. Before I went out I had ran out of my usual .22 AA Fields, had a full tin of Bisley Magnums at the bottom of my gun bag, so quickly re-zeroed and out I went. I was surprised to see when zeroing that the drop of the Bisley's was not much more than the AA Fields i normally use, the vertical was bang on. Out I went 22 shots for 20 rabbits, i was really impressed with there stopping power and a few of the shots were 50 + yards, I was pleasantly surprised how they seem to fire well out of the HW 100, it is a 12 ft pound rifle. Any o

  13. Hello All, I have had my Falcon FN 19 (Hawk) .22 for 16 years now, it is a good accurate rifle. It is a very light rifle, it needs a good service but I was also looking if it can be tuned properly? Does anybody know were i could send it for servicing/tuning? Thanks John...

  15. Hello All, Could be old news now! What has happened to Theoben? John...
  16. No offence intended But that seems a poorly asked question?. Good point, well presented!! is the .177 a flatter trajectory than the .22 and to what extent?
  17. Are the pellets washed and lubed or straight from the tin?
  18. Cheers I presume it will be a much flatter trajectory than the .22 calibre?
  19. Hello All, Having shot .22 in both of my current air rifles, HW100 & Falcon FN19, what is the trajectory like on .177 calibre? What will be the best distance to zero the HW 97 .177 (with a stage 1 tune) at? Thanks John...

  24. Hello All, The HW 100 as had some serious hammer since buying it, what a rifle, deadly accurate! It think it is time to have it serviced, 3 years without touching it, I live in Kent any ideas who to use? Thanks John...
  25. Hello All, I went through the same dilemma on boots but my feet do not like lined/tex boots, my feet sweat too much and the boot then take's an age to dry out. I bought a pair of Lundhags Scout boots from Penrith Survival, what a pair of boots, slightly expensive but awesome. I treated them when I first bought them with the supplied Lundhags wax/feed and then a bit of Nikwax, I have gone beating and shooting all through the Pheasant season, never once leaked, comfortable, supportive and light. I would say treat yourself to a pair of decent woollen socks, they work on the using layers princi
