    I am going to mount a Whitetail Classic Scope on it (x50 Objective Lense). I have a set of Hawke Match mounts with a retainer pin, are these suitable mounts? I see many people use a one piece mount, your advice is welcome? Cheers...

    I went out recently on a permission with lots of rabbits, during the course of the shoot I took head shots, some to the side, front, and some to the rear. All where dead instantly, side & front all twitched, jumped, and back legs going, the ones on the rear of the head, stone dead, just dropped no movement or anything! 2 still had grass in their mouth. I presume it must be due to hitting a different part of the brain?

    Hi all, I have just acquired a Weihrauch HW97K from a permission I shoot at, the owner bought it, shot about 100 pellets through it and put it away, never to be used again. It needs a good clean, very light surface rust appearing in parts, it’s never seen any oil. My intention is to strip it down, give it a good clean, polish any moving parts, regrease and put back together. Is there a good tuning kit I can buy off the shelf for it to install? What type of ft lbs should I be looking at from it, also what pellets are suitable for it? I use Weihrauch own pellets on my HW100 with crackin

    Zeroed the scope yesterday, it was a pleasure to zero & did it in 4 shots, after putting about 50 pelletts through to lead the barrel up after cleaning. Used the Falcon Accuracy Plus in .22, they fly nice, travel quite flat too. Zeroed at 28 yards, then went out to 50 yards using the mildots. Set the scope at 14 times mag, the optics are so good at 14 times, I can count the hairs on the rabbits eye lids!

    Setting up and mounting the scope today. On a FFP scope when first setting the eye relief is it best to have the mag on higher so I can see all of the reticle, or minimum?

    Scope arrived today, first impressions it is built like a tank! oozes quality to me!, the clicks on the turrets are nice and firm (sound good too) so it shouldn’t move in travel (I am worried whether or not it will fit in my gun slip). Haven’t mounted it yet, but had a play outside tonight focussing ect, I went to last light and the optics did a fabulous job, put my current scope to shame. Mounts arrive tomorrow so will put it on the rifle. My ignorance now, is there an idiots guide in setting such a scope up? Cheers...

    Do you think the FFP will be suitable for hunting, I normally shoot at 28 yards +, rabbits mainly and in low light, current scope sits at 6x magnification and don’t really move it?

    Hi all, Has anyone used the M18+ 4-18x44 FFP with EMD2 scope from Falcon, looking for a no frills, solid, with quality optics scope and am told these scopes are excellent for their price? I have never had a FFP scope but am told they are good for hunting, any advice? Cheers...

    I found this in my gun cabinet, can't remember buying it, and who from. I was going to oil my Air rifle stocks (both are Walnut), do you think this would be suitable, is it best to use my hand and not a cloth? Cheers...

    Thinking of treating myself to a new rifle, I currently own an HW100 & FN19 in .22. I am told .177 is as good as calibre to hunt with, if not better? Does anyone shoot with the above rifle, I quite like the look of the HW110, is the polymer construction robust? Cheers....

    With the Falcon Accuracy Plus pellets being lighter and with a flatter trajectory in .22, I normally zero at 25 yards, do you think it’s worth extending the zero range?

    Ordered quite a bit from these guys, parcel should arrive today: Brunox gun spray & pump version. Falcon Accuracy Plus .22 for my FN19, Weihrauch Field Target Special .22 for the HW100, and some AA Diablo Field in case the guns don’t like the new pellets! Will zero both rifles in later today....

    I went round to farms and knocked on their doors (dressed smartly), it took a while to get somewhere, but I have found since I have got more permissions from word of mouth. I joined the National Gamekeepers, gave me shooting insurance, the farmers particularly like that near where I am as a lot run pheasant/partridge shoots on their land. Try different ways, but tell them it’s a service you can offer them, not can I just coming shooting!

    I hope everyone are safe and well. Just had my HW100 & Falcon FN19 serviced and tuned, and both rifles are shooting great. The mags in my HW100 are of metal construction and Falcon are plastics, I have stripped the Falcon mags which were quite dirty inside, HW100 are easy, is it worth spraying some silicone dry lube on the mags when putting them back together? Also I am told the HW100 mags only have 1 rubber O ring on now, mine have 2, is this correct? Cheers....

    Struggling to find the Falcon Accuracy Plus .22, JSB Exact Express seems similar spec (both a 5.52 head size), has anyone used these?
