  1. Hi all, Does anyone run a Weihrauch silencer on their HW97K, if so, does it make a difference?, I am running a Vortex tune on mine by Tony Burton. Cheers John...
  2. Hi all, I am in the market for a new scope for my HW97K, I have a Falcon M18i on my Lighthunter FN19, superb scope and optics. I wondered if there is anything else out there around the same price bracket, can spend up to £300? Cheers...
  3. Tony Burton Tuned my 97K .22 after advice from a member on here, put a Vortex Tune kit in, did a great job. The rifle just gets smoother and more accurate with every shot...been out today with it after rabbits, i love shooting it, it's had about 300 pellets through it now! Tony is a nice guy too...
  4. Just had my Falcon FN19 recently serviced & tuned, it's a cracking rifle, in it's sweet spot it can still put pellet on pellet! Good luck...
  5. Air Arms stock all the original Falcon FN19 parts too...
  6. Nice shooting ? Is that .177 or .22 you are using?
  7. Watched a few videos on YouTube, and a guy called Si Pittaway makes reference to this forum all the time, does he post on here then? They are old videos now though, the ones I watched...
  8. There are a shortage of springers at the moment, hardly any in Kent, apparently Hull Cartridge are awaiting a delivery from HW, Germany!
  9. Hi all, What are your thoughts on the HW80K, good break barrel, and is it tuneable like the 97K? It will be for static hunting. Cheers...
  10. Morning all, I am going to clean my barrels on all my rifle, I normally spray some Brunox gun oil down the barrel, let it do its stuff then use patches pulled through with my Napier kit, finish off by shooting a couple of .22 felt wads through. How many pellets do you guys normally shoot through the barrel before re-zeroing it? Cheers...
  11. The Pro Sport seems similar to load like my 97K, is the loading port smaller then? I have to say love my 97K since getting it back from AGRtuning, I know it’s new to me but can’t seem to put it down, there is something satisfying about shooting it.
  12. When you next see her, be really polite and nice to her, secretly it will eat at her knowing it doesn’t bother you!
  13. Even to the point, my mate is selling his AA Pro Sport .22 which he bought, had a young family and stopped using it! Again, hardly used and mint, I said I would buy it!
  14. Update: Been out 3 times now with HW97K, and I must admit there is something very satisfying about shooting it and taking a clean kill (only wounded once through pulling the shot but dispatched the prey shortly afterwards) I’ve swapped over to the Weihrauch Diablo pellets in .22 which group lovely, and fly quite flat. The rifle feels as though it is getting smoother with every shot, probably things bedding in. It is so accurate, and out at range too. Question: I hunt with the rifle, so at times it is left cocked for a period of time, I’ve heard this can be bad for it? It’s alway
  15. Just come back from shooting with the 97K, trying to get plenty of practise! Re-zeroed with the Weirhauch F&T Diabolo pellets in .22, the groupings are tight, and it shot lovely with them, I even managed to take a rabbit at 45 yards, it fell straight over (more of a fluke I think!) 1 question, the cocking arm catch, is it best to lube it with oil, or use a bit of gun grease? Cheers...
  16. Can the sound moderator be improved on the 97K?
  17. Sorry, was using the Primos Gen 3 stick!

  19. Been out and the rifle shoots fantastic, zeroed in at 28 yards, it grouped well and that’s probably me still getting used to the gun. It is so smooth with little recoil, the more I shot it, it seemed to get smoother! Took 3 rabbits with it at 30 yards so well chuffed, there is something very satisfying about shooting a Springer! Its my first time with a Springer, now tuned with a Vortek PG3 by agrtuning. Tony is a top bloke, thanks for recommending him Si ?

  22. Hi all, Going out this evening to shoot the HW97K and zero it in, I have always shot PCPs, do you have any tips for shooting a springer? Cheers John...
