  1. A 5 prong end suggests its a 3 phase(+ a neutral and earth) tool which wont run on domestic power. how many cores has the flex got?
  2. The reason many people believe that chocolate labs dont make as good workers as yellow/black, is that at one time choc was quite a rare colour in labs, but the choc colour was highly desired, usually for non working pets, two choc labs were bred together wether they were good workers or not. Many potential gundog owners would not consider buying a yellow/black lab without FTCH in their pedigree, whereas would purchase a choc lab just for the colour. 3. The best bet is to wait for a red hot day give your dog a gud run around and lead him to a shallow lake or pond, dogs are usually keen to wade in to their chests to cool down. I usually introduce my lurchers to water in the company of my spaniels as they love the water. I did have one whippet/grey that refused to even walk through a puddle no matter what i tried. he was a good hunting dog but soft as sh1t around water.

  9. an old shooting friend of mine used to make cones of paper, place a bit of corn/wheat in the middle and smear the rim with quicklime. These were placed along hedgerows and in furrows early morn, when the pheasants after the corn/wheat got their heads stuck in the cones, if he was quiet he could just pick them up.

My old man got to the final interview to be a rspca inspector and he mentioned that he did a bit of rough shooting (all perfectly legal) and he was escorted out of the building by security!! a lot of people need educating that the rspca is a political, fascist, anti group, that abuse rather than use any little power they have!
