  1. Fair play sniper that's a nice looking pup.
  2. Nice dogs. Nice area but most of all NICE WELLIES.
  3. How much are you looking for him and why are you selling him. Have you had him from a pup and whats he good at?
  4. Yes I've no doubt that your right with regards to foxes. The combination would probably be too light. But I can't help but think that if you crossed a good working strain whippet with an Irish Terrier then this would help equal things up and bring a slightly hardier phisique and coat.
  5. Sorry to hear that. Cuts to the bone when you loose a dog. Best of luck in the future.
  6. Interesting it was just a thought as you never see then advertised. Just that it is a good long legged terrier and somewhere there must be someone still breeding workers. Maybe worth a go if someone has a whippet that they want to breed from and fancies an experiment. Love the look of the Irish terrier. In one of Plummers books I'm shure that he states that they are a "mute" terrier. I find this hard to believe but it would have to be a benifit for any terrier cross running dog?
  7. Hi, just wondered if this is a common cross? Everybody tends to use Whippet x Beddy for rabbits but just wondered what this cross would look like and proform like? Any body with experiance of these and any pics of one?
  8. That a lovely looking dog mate. What height is it?
  9. Nice looking dog. Good luck.
  10. Recieved mine this morning to. Was out all day stalking so have only flicked through it as yet. Great pictures as usual. Just got to learn how to read now.
  11. Thanks for the rethink Ian. I'm new to long dogs and need all the advice that I can get and this site is a real life line for me and I would be alot worse off without it. I myself have been picked out by some "over opinionated" people who made my first thread an unpleasent experiance and will give it a second thought before posting another. But I also bit and maybe shouldn't have. We must all think about what we wright before posting it. Anyway thank GOD it's back. Looking forward to some positive posts. CHEERS IAN
  12. Well done mate, Good feelin.
  13. Well done to the both of you, and the little fella to of course. What is he to the shoulder? My wife is due in a few weeks time. This pup will be out of top English and Irish lines, she's from Navan, so should be a goon un. Any way this is our second so take it from me, if you weren't up all night before then you will be now Enjoy it memorable times mate.
  14. F**K they're ugly. Probably scare the game away before you even get the lamp on.
  15. Will probably be fine. I also keep sheep and once they have there ears tagged they hold then differently than before. But only until the wound heals then they go back as before. The lump is just some swelling, same as if you had caught your self on barb. If your really worried then maybe a trip to the vet for a jab just to be sure there isn't any infection. Best of luck.
  16. Well done mate. Lovely looking dog that obviously has a good turn of speed.
  17. Here's my pride and joy. Just seven months 27tts and just had his first bunny. Took him out yesterday evening and loosed him go after taking a couple of photos of him. Just flicking through the pics whilst ambling along and caught him in the corner of my eye at full pelt about three foot off charlies arse. Thank god he didn't catch it, would have probably put him off for life. :realmad:
  18. Hi Mick welcome to the site. Two fine looking dogs there mate. Nothing personal but I hope you don't live to near me coz there wouldn't be any charlies left for me. God help them. Best of luck mate. :welcomeani:
