thanks droid ,just so happens we will be staying in derby for a couple of nights with jackies relatives,dont know if they like an ale like i do but damn i will do my best to visit the Three Stags Heads,cheers.

hi all ,if i dont sort this out now ,i just will not get the time before we come to england ,our deer hunting season (with scent trailling hounds ) starts in two weeks , so between work and hunting there aint much time left for thl .. we will arrive in london july 17 ,going on a trafalgar tour which i guess will be fairly full on,london ,scottish highlands ,skye,liverpool,dublin,killarney,plymouth ,london. then we hire a car and visit my sweeties rellies in llantwit then derby .leave london on august 20,for home. just in case the opportunity should arrise i would like to visit some good

damn those newcastle brown ales are nice ,75 bucks a slab though.i had a czech beer last night kozel dark that was good too .i look around my computer room ,beer tops stuck to my gun cabinet,beer memoribilia on the walls ,beer bottles filled with home made tomato sauce ,empty beer bottles waiting for me to remove labels ,life would be so boring without beer .im not an alcoholic i just love the stuff.

why do they make beer .... ...............just got home from work ,check mail ,ah ,bloody solicitor has sent me an email ,no he has sent me 7emails ,not because he loves me ,i guess he needs some more money this month ,he says he is working with me and going to sort my separation shit out ,not sure if i really believe him... ...so thats one reason why they make beer .any others ...

had the black sheep one ,another which i enjoyed was cairngorm sheepshagers gold ,no we dont do that here apparently thats in NZ......how do they find there sheep in the long grass........bloody beautiful.

merlin2008 ,like the sound of your beers ,ive had the ESBand fursty ferret,damn nice drop , i will look for the others when in england .lots of others ive never heard of but will look for them as well .we do have some good beers here .been to a beer expo today ,my very first one ,my shiela came along as well ,shit we did have a good time ,definately going to as many of them as i can.cheers .

sorry peoples ,got busy doing other shit ,back now though, compo yes your correct i will be looking for those english beers but will always find time to try others as well .mad al ,i sort of knew you would,nt let me down ,great link and i will spend more time looking at that ,thanks .... lots of beers mentioned some i already have tried and others i will look for here although i realize most i will only get from england or even only at the pub itself. kay i reckon you drink that red guinness ,look in the mirror. thanks all ,cheers.

already done lad ,right now having a couple ,aldo not irish meself but i do love de irish accent ,de green beer ,,,havent been there yet . im in australia my day is ending yours is begining.cheers

rabbit traps ,when i was a kid i had a good lot of poeple who would buy my rabbits ,had to have kidneys ,liver intact .probably only spent the money on lollies ,cant remember . And i had a good bird egg collection ,strange ,i never took all eggs from nest ,bet you couldnt have that in this day and age . shanghi,s ,slingshot ,i used to make them out of rubber tube and ,(we didnt have the access to leather like we do now )so i used to cut the tongue out of dads boots ,dont know why he didnt flog my arse me .

you should have cooked that venison by now ,next time cook in oven bag ,rub a little butter over the top ,sprinkle with fresh herbs (if you have ) ,i used rosemary ,thyme ,oregano ,thats it .follow instructions on oven bag box as to rare ,medium or well done ,careful if you have an older oven ,probably will take i bit longer to cook as the heat tends to escape .if you like garlic then stab the meat and poke a couple of pieces of cloves in .dont worry to much ,most times the simplest way is the best way .cheers . .

zuchinni ,i had italian striped ,yellow ball and normal all produced very good even in this dry hot season we have had .if you do grow them ,when you have surplus make zuchinni relish ,i posted a recipe on here for that a while ago ,very popular at work .probably the best relish ive ever tasted .cheers.

rouge de mamande ,i guess you would get them in england ,i grew them for the first time this year and the few i got tasted superb. everyone here had a bad year for toms ,bush fires ,very hot summer ,drought ,etc . the end of our season now .why not plant a variety .i even stuck a fine piece of copper wire through the stalk base of one bush ,as someone at work said to ,ha ,dont know if that did any good as twas a crap season .cheers .

well here i am nearing sunday night ,and you lot are just waking up .been an ok day ,done a bit gardening ,trimmed the mint ,shit i do smell nice ,even if i do say so myself ,cleaned the work car so as it looks like i care ,done the happy birthday thing with sister, had a bottle of english black sheep ale and some home grown beers ,now about to cook a fallow deer roast for my woman and i ,cant get much better than that ,whoops hang on maybe it can ,the nights not over yet.so what special thing (apart from) are you going to do today ,,,,whilst im sleeping .cheers.

shit hot ,love it ,if only we could do stuff like that .claybusters al ..simular story years ago my uncle had trouble with someone stealing things ,set a fishing line around the perimeter of his place with fish hooks every metre or so , never caught anyone but lost a lot of hooks . cheers .
