Cabinet Placement and fitting
falconbob2004 replied to Britishbull24's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Got my Fac ok with the cabinet in my attatched garage allbeit in a separate cupboard(ex coalhouse) at the back of garage. The officer noted that the garage was well used, more like a utility room really. Extra security on main garage door was well received. The system works well as I'm straight in from hunting/shooting club, stuff stored, wellies off, no mess, everybody happy. Best of luck. -

led lenser p7 filter
falconbob2004 replied to xraiderx's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Hi, I bought my LED LENSER P7 from Bagnall and Kirkwood up here in Newcastle upon Tyne with a separate coloured lens kit. They have an ebay site called a1tackleshop and post stuff all over. Hope this helps you. I use the P7 on my .22 rimfire and it is brilliant at well over 50yds, more than enough and with bog standard AAA batteries!! Regards, Bob. -
Had my T Bolt .22LR a couple of years now and find it a great little rifle, it is a pleasure to shoot. It is my vermin control tool(lamping bunnies on my local golf course)and mated with B&T Moderator,LED Lenser under barrel light and Winchester Subs it is deadly. The action is a quick straight pull coupled with 10 shot rotary magazine. Touch wood I have never had any feed problems which is reassuring in the dark. Top tang mounted safety is handy also. Never hunted with any other rifle so I cannot comment. Love it!

Got my FAC 8 weeks after applying at the turn of the year with no problems from the Northumbria Police. Applied for 3 x .22 LR rifles for hunting and target shooting disciplines. Everyone most helpful!

Thanks, that was really helpful. Are you a Gunsmith?

Has anyone have any info on removing the barrel from my Browning T Bolt .22LR(new model).Cheers.

Hi, I use my T Bolt .22 LR at my local shooting club for 25, 50, 75 & 100 yard targets and it is very accurate with consistent grouping. The action is easy to use and coupled with the flush rotary magazine I have never had a misfeed (touch wood). The trigger is a bit heavy but it is positive with hardly any travel and you do get used to it. Regards, Bob.

HI, Just a quiery on RED DOT scopes. Do they have adjustment like telescopic sights i.e. ocular lens adjustment for focusing the reticle or in this case the red dot. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob.

Getting a new scope and I fancy one of three in the 6-20 magnification / £200 range. The three are HAWKE SIDEWINDER IR Tac 30 6.5-20x44 with the new 20x1/2 mil dot reticle, the NIKKO STERLING Targetmaster 5-20x50 IR with the LRX reticle and the MTC VIPER in the same magnification. They all have similar tactical turret adjustment with 30mm tube. I will be bench rest target shooting in .22LR at 25,50,75 and 100 yards. Any advice to sway me would be appreciated. Regards, Bob.

I have the 12ft lbs AirArms 510 SL and it is an absolute dream to use. With the extra range in FAC it must be a cracker. falconbob2004
