  1. I can't see it being lifted, certainly not by the torys, as lots seem to want to belive. When was the last law revoked? They don't scrap laws, they only make more.
  2. Having the same problem on a lot of my land, not a good year so far for the rabbits. Numbers were well up this time last year.
  3. A rabbit is a rabbit no matter where. Theres easy ground in the south, and I suppose easy ground in the north. Maybe there is just more running ground in the north?
  4. one i did is a lightforce blitz, same sort of bulb, never had one blow yet, but carry a spare anyway.
  5. yes mate, just make sure the conection just inside the lamp is strong either a bit of solder or a screw down electric conector, and bolt the other end onto the battery.
  6. Depends if you use the cigaret lighter part, I dont, so i just rewired the entire thing with one bit of wire straight from the battery to the lamp, no conections and no fuse. Havent had a problem since.

There an industry standard, and if you get bored, good to try to land small copper coins in from a distance. Depends on the size of the fire place, but normally they just fit in behind the fire, and the only mods to the fire place are the holes drilled for the pipes. edited to add, yes you will keep your immersion heater where it is, and the hot water from the back boiler is piped into it, to supliment it.

Second dog is a mini smooth jack, keeps the rats down around my chickens and bushes rabbits out for the lurcher third is the lurcher, youngun, just over a year, doing everything I expect of him, filling the freezer along the way Love em all, and spend more time with em than I do with the wife
  18. you need to click the option to public view, and post the url mate.
  19. do you mean "what the " ? that set up cost 3 quid and caught its fair share of rabbits.
  20. a lot of those lamps run off a 6volt battery, but then, if it has a cigaret lighter conector, I think that may make it a 12volt. Best to take it apart and see what battery is in it, is it one of those cheap rechagerbal ones? If so, I converted one into a lamping lamp, with a bigger battery pack I linked up a load of 6 volt batterys for mine, but some one told me that if you use a 12volt, you just need to change the bulb to a 12volt bulb. I dont use it anymore, but it did ok for a bit, still works now, but not as good as my blitz.
  21. Yeah, i wouldnt even wait for it to go, just replace the lot as soon as you get it, can't belive lightforce STILL have such crappy wiring. The unit is sound though.
  22. I use a rewired lightforce blitz and 12 17ah battery, find it a very useful tool, though large, it does give you the extra distance if needed.
  23. Does sound an excallent way to lamp Oh well, maybe one day I'll be in the right position to keep a BOP
