Good luck, Del. Get well soon, mate!

Comedian is a bit of a stretch.

Go on I'll bite. Who the f*ck is Jussie Smollett?

Fair one. I was on my way out of the door! Fair one, mate. I work too and was on my way out to do just that! I fully agree with what you're saying but one side of this coin isn't playing by the rules. I was simply wondering how the boots on the ground were going. There wasn't a Brexit protest in Las Vegas there was a very large naked lady, screaming at the passing buses.

Did anyone turn up to parliament today, to protest?

Robert Mueller is a paid up card carrying Republican, registered in the District of Columbia. He's made many donations to their election campaigns at both statewide and national level. US law forbids the use of political affiliation to bar candidates from federal jobs. That means they couldn't favour/discriminate for the position based on political party affiliation. There will be democrats on the investigation team the same as republican and independents. The FBI, as most LE in the US, are overwhelmingly republican. In an interesting who's f*ck*ng who comparison though...

Agreed, mate. It's a textbook double standard.

I don't know how you can make it any clearer. Leave or Remain. They should have set up all the contingencies starting the following morning after the referendum. Britain could seriously gain from this but not while you have a government that is looking backwards.

Kin 'ell! Have a cider, mate! I posted an article you and make it sound like I want to suck Juncker's cock.

The point is, mate, is that the same judicial system that found her innocent 11 times has just exonerated Donald. Actually scratch that because no one other than Mueller has actually looked into the report but Don's mouthpiece has blurted out a prepared statement without so much as a glance it appears. This is why we want to see what's in it before everyone on Team D starts cracking the champagne. With all the calls of whitewash and witch hunt when it appeared to be going the wrong way how come there's integrity to the investigation all of a sudden? I honestly don't like Donnie. Tha

New cars to have speed limiters and black boxes by law
ChrisJones replied to Born Hunter's topic in General Talk
How much does this scheme cost the taxpayer? I'm assuming this device will be rolled into the price of a new car along with monitoring. Hundreds? Thousands? Vehicle tax up to pay for the people required to monitor it? F*ck*n laughable... -
This link is doing the rounds at work. Sao Paulo Brazil. Off duty police officer and an attempted robbery. Taking the video at face do you or your loved ones have the right to use up to lethal force to defend your wellbeing?

The Revoke Article 50 and 2nd Referendum petitions are both to be debated next week in parliament. The Revoke Article 50 petition is the largest ever received on the website.

No although he talks the talk. The situation is largely unchanged from the previous administration. Like the previous Presidents a lot is said and little is done. No real solutions have been offered and despite two years of having all three branches under his influence he's opted to squander the time. The only real negative for me personally is that my tax has gone up. His moving and shaking has been primarily for the benefit of large corporations. Overall negative is the cancer that is American politics but that's across the board not just his adminstration. That's understandab

Relax comrades! You've done nothing wrong so there's nothing to fear... Right? -
That's fair enough mate as has already been mentioned there are massive cultural differences at play here, also. NZ's culture is radically different from the US culture and is well removed from that in the UK too. I live in a state that is larger than the UK but has a population smaller than Greater Manchester where I moved from. Firearms are simply tools for a job and while many people opt to carry and become proficient with those tools many chose to wait for someone else. Fair enough but when seconds count the police are only minutes. Same. We live in wildfire country and no one woul

Despite a 420 - 0 unanimous bipartisan decision to release the Mueller report Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell has blocked that resolution, and now won't. If the attorney general was able to exonnerate Donnie in a 4 page summary why are they blocking the release of the report despite unanimous cross party support?

NPR posts a pretty solid article summarizing the Mueller Investigation. Worth reading to get you up to date on the case. You can read Attorney General, William Barr's summary of the Mueller Investigation here. It includes links to the original document.

Like everything else, mate, I'll wait for the actual results to come in. I have a really hard time accepting that anyone involved in politics is innocent! Don hasn't been exonerated by the report either. His own appointed AG says so... I agree with you on the Democrats though, mate. You only had to see the Kavanagh questioning to see just how f*ck*ng desperate it's become.

The only thing I've seen achieved on both side of the Atlantic in the last 4 years is bitter resentment towards anything not on their team. The chasm is widening every day.

My mistake. I misread. That's true mate but again not supporting Trump doesn't mean that I'm supporting the Democrats. The Mueller investigation has concluded and hasn't directly implicated Trump although they have jailed several of his close advisors and others are awaiting trial. As Attorney General Barr is quoted... That was a pretty decent result in the fight against political corruption. That does wrap up the Mueller investigation and now we get to see how the others play out. Two main ones being the federal prosecutors in New York investigating his inauguration and campai

One thing we have learned from the last couple of years in politics is that the conservative populists that have been sworn in to fix the mess are just as f*ck*ng useless as the ones they replaced!
