  1. Thoughts and prayers for you guys...
  2. I was having this discussion with a lad at work. He's a former military dog handler. We reckon the dog doesn't pick up the wrong un but he picks up on alert response of the handler. Basically you have evolved a survival mechanism over millions of years and the dog is far more in tune to you than you are sometimes. Your gut feeling is way ahead of you and the dog confirms it. In the modern world we have a tendency to surpress that instinct but it's still there all the same. The dog doesn't have the complex logic patterns that humans do and is far more aware of the handlers baseline stress
  3. You're easier to catch. Until they have a national knife certificate and registry.
  4. That is pretty pathetic and as I touched on earlier it's that next level of bureaucracy of that will make the next generation less likely to engage in what is an absolutely normal activity on the basis of it not being worth the hassle getting into it. Honestly? How many people would get into fieldsports without the guidance of a close friend or family member? Looks like airgunning and shooting will go the same way and the only way it will be carried it out in the future will be by licensed professionals who have the money to fund the operations. Or maybe the only ones who'll have the inclinati
  5. Can they be converted to fire tannerite snowflakes?
  6. Fair enough but in the original post you said in January. I'm not splitting hairs I'm just going off the information you initially provided. No worries though, we've clarified that. What's in the new GL that will cause issue? Specifically which bits don't you like? Will it radically change rural pest control like a lot of the information flying around is suggesting?
  7. Yep. After his 15mins of infamy. The media stopped broadcasting stories of suicides years ago because there was a trend in copycats. Unfortunately they haven't applied that to shootings which is either monumental stupidity or they like the revenue it generates. Shame they were denied here, right?
  8. You. You stated in this post that they'll be re-written in January next year. So that's actually 9 months, not 7. Fair enough, mate. I was just going off the information you posted earlier on. No worries. What restrictions will come in from this and has Packham wasted his time?
  9. While I tend to agree with you that will be 7 months that these birds will enjoy the additional protection outside special ministry permission. What are the odds this will all be ironed out by January? Maybe January 2023...
  10. Reports coming in of a mob of whites chasing a handful of black people through London... The Rochdale Herald... No arrests have been made...
  11. With the billions made in the diet industry I'm sure some of it helps but when you look at human physiology I honestly wonder just how much.
  12. Slowly falling down the news rankings here as it doesn't fit the current narrative. I saw it hit the headlines last night and I've had to dig for the follow up this morning.
  13. Saturday 27th an armed man attempted entry to a synagogue outside of San Diego, California. According to eyewitnesses he was armed with an "AR style assault rifle" and 3 people have been injured and one has been confirmed dead. AR15's are illegal in California. The shooter was engaged by the synagogue's armed security which in this case was an off duty border patrol agent. The shooter fled the scene and gave himself up to LE. The narrative of this story began as one of gun control but has quickly shifted to that of a hate crime now that more details have come to light. The article is
  14. I don't know what it is but over here they all taste synthetic. Not nice at all. Controversial statement warning but the human body is essentially stoneage hardware. A lot of the greats were great without pharmaceutical enhancements and concentrated on consistency in diet and exercise. Granted many were also genetically gifted to start with. Start with the basics and be patient.
  15. Buy a supersoaker and fill it with DEF (AdBlue)...
  16. Sounds great that mate. Save the powders and potions for when you've maxed out your natural abilities. You'll save a fortune.
  17. I used it for a while and I didn't do anything noticeable. When I discussed it with my local guru he noted that it was being used as a feed supplement in cattle and that if I was consuming a decent quantity of red meat I was probably ingesting enough that any other supplementation was futile. Bottom line was no gains but saved money by not taking it. Francie: If you're considering going down that particular avenue max out your natural abilities first. If you're lifting heavy you'll slow down reduced testosterone anyway and that's even if it effects you that much to begin with.
  18. It's a gradual errosion but the UK is so far down the rabbit hole, now, they're simply waiting it out. A generation, or two, and I sincerely doubt you'll be able to own anything legally. They don't have to pass any more laws they just have to make the process so longwinded and bureaucratic that the majority simply won't bother because it isn't worth the hassle. Combine that with a steady drip of clickbait articles on how pursuit X is wrong and you're left with their utopia where everyone sits inside and the only people outside are delivering sh*t to the people inside...
  19. Looks like homeopathy under another name.
  20. That's always been on the cards under the UN's Program of Action on Small Arms. The beauty of it in the UK is that they don't have to restrict firearms any further they simply have less reasons for an FAC in the first place. My understanding is that all birds are protected and any form of control requires ministry permission which will explore all options of prevention and cure. From my past dealings in public health lethal control has always been the last option. General license removes certain parameters from that process for certain species which means you now have to jump through all of th

Looks like a remake of a French film called the Intouchables. That was funny!

Worth a go, IMO, mate. It reminded me of a sequel to The Untouchables. Not as good but a damn good couple of hours.
  23. If you didn't want to just pick up and go on the adventures you never watched it...
