Greedy politicians have agreed this week to a budget of $2.5 trillion of federal spending. The bipartisan bill signed off by business guru DJT increases federal spending only a little over a year of sweeping tax cuts thereby raising the debt ceiling and making the swamp even deeper by increasing the size of the levees holding all the sh*t in! Well done!!

In the latest round of 4D chess North Korea resumes missile testing and issues a solemn warning to South Korea. Don obviously plays it down... UPDATE: Intelligence analysts pouring over recent satellite imagery now believe that NK built up to a dozen long range nuclear missiles since the negotiations opened with the Trump administration. The administraton simply shrugged adding that "Kim promised he wouldn't be testing any weapons..."

Did you watch any of the six hour grilling he got? I wouldn't bet against him at this stage. He's the best candidate out there which shows just how low that bar is! Not as cut and dry as you think it is... About f*ck*ng time!

You understand that they're threatening sanctions not just tariffs? It won't matter how much we export or import if 50% of Britains trading partners are forbidden from doing so. Again the answer is pretty straight forward but Britain hasn't got the stomach for shaking up the government and loosening the barriers to business for everyone.
-
Trade what with Britain exactly? Nearly 50% of British exports go to Europe. The trick is get other countries to invest in Britain, even European ones, but you can't do that without a massive overhaul. The EU want £39bn do you just tell them to f*ck off and leave it at that?

It's expensive news! They'll be paying union dues for a bit... I support no deal 100% but that will only work if Britain radically alters pretty much all of it's business and government practices. No one has the stomach for that. Shame because you really could make it great again.
-
The EU say they won't renegotiate the deal with Boris.

So the bloke that "lent" Boris Johnson the use of his £9½ million flat has just been given "corporate advisor" job assisting Johnson... So with deeds not words being the afterpoint of the 'clean slate' his first job was to give one of his mates a government job that is clearly good enough to give up his 20 year career with Sky News. Not a great start.

This time next year, Rodders, we'll be millionaires!
-
Stick some pics up when you get back!

Mine too but I'm not going to let that scuttle what could be a pretty decent payday! The British government are some of the most gullible f*cks around so if I can make a few quid channeling an environmental issue as opposed to owning up to my failings as a person I'm fairly sure that they'll pay my ticket for rest of eternity. That's how the welfare state works. Maybe you should get in on it and we can go for a class actions suit!

Many people voted for Brexit based on immigration but when UKIP adopted a much firmer nationalist stance they were resoundingly spanked at the ballot. I can't place the thread that you and I discussed it, but it seems to support earlier comments I made regarding national sovereignty. That comment was along the lines is that I supported Brexit based on national sovereignty and the political structure of the EU and that I was in the majority. You disagreed as you believed the focus was more heavily based on immigration? The surge in support for the Brexit party appears to support this also,

With all due respect Mush, I wasn't anywhere near your belt! I was refering to my hair loss from eating contaminated Welsh lamb.
-
No but it does cause hair loss. That's what it says in my pending lawsuit anyway...

100% agree with you, mate, but once we accept that all media is trying to manipulate us it becomes a lot easier navigating the information field. The BBC still has a very high factual content with information but their style will play down and sometimes ignore what doesn't fit their narrative. Our duty as citizens is to perform our due dilligence and find out what is factual and what is tugging on the heart strings. One good thing to come out of the last political cycle is that we're all getting better at it. This is the silver lining of the Fake News cloud.
-
Mush, you were steamin. Your recollection is tarnished. You probably took a taxi and weren't even in Blackpool at the time!
-
You going third party, or abstaining completely, Arry?

Same thing happened this end, mate. The messiah was elected to end corruption and bring transparency to politics. He was ordained by a main party, made entirely of career main party politicians, to take them in a new direction... Guess what happened? Now the other team are lining up main party politicians, made entirely of career politicians. Some of these politicians have over 50 years in politics and have gone from humble means to millionaires without actually achieving anything in politics. This will also be a new direction. Kinda makes you wonder when people will actually start t

They're completely biased but I wouldn't call it anti-democratic. They just have their opinions like everyone else and will forward that wherever they can. Anti democratic would be ignoring or changing the result of the referendum and you've got a whole House of Parliament for that. The majority margin was very slim. Whatever happens you'll have roughly half the population thinking it's wrong.

I'm surprised none of the resident Trumpers posted this one from the 4th of July... Where Don claimed that the army manned the air and eventually retook the airports... from the British... during the revolutionary war... in 1775. What a plonker! #Trump2020

The Simpsons did it in March 2000. You're right though. They were laughing at people right up until election night too! Let that sink in. Of all the elected officials from every constituency across the land. Boris is the man for the job... Like the rest of them. Deeds not words. His clean slate has been installed and now it's show time.

She lives in Brazil speaks Portugese and attacks a Brazilian catholic priest for whatever the crackpot reasoning was going through her head at the time. I still don't understand why that journalist posted it next to a picture of Donald Trump, what it has to do with America and any bearing on this thread. Help me out? Please mate... The top man in the world and that's the best he can come up with? I can sit and rip into these ladies policies all day. Pull them to pieces and leave a liberal without a single comeback. We can sit here and wax lyrical about it without a single word of

Well said, Sir! The sad thing is that's actually playing out in most western governments. It certainly is here and your statement is equally applicable if you switch the names to Yanks. It's amazing that we've gone from Churchill to May in two generations and Roosevelt to Trump in the same time. We truly do get the government we deserve.
