Nothing new in that video. Sounds like audio from one of THL's infamous god threads!

That's one of the reasons the city made homelessness a crime. So they can remove them from areas your average tourist might wander into. If you get on Las Vegas Boulevard and go north, past Binions at the top of the strip, you'll see them everywhere. Literally a block north of the strip. Everything to nothing in under a mile.

Can't argue with that, mate. Personally I think removing a lot of the imposed barriers would be a decent step forward to. Down here in Vegas you can now get a criminal record for being homeless, or camping in the city which is the current euphemism. Most places won't rent apartments or hire people with criminal records and that's just a sliver of the vicious circle. and that politicians live in gated communities, in affluent areas, with armed security, and don't even see it. So it doesn't effect them. Northern Cali is beautiful, mate but generally once you get out of the city y

It is, mate. The US' War on Poverty is over 50 years old and $23trillion dollars in... You have to wonder where all that money is going. People shitting in the streets in parts of California. It's one of those multi-faceted problems at the very root of society the solution lies in empowering people to move up which would mean removing barriers keeping them down. Not a single one of these polticians is addressing that because it can't be turned into a convenient soundbite that will get votes. Las Vegas recently made homelessness a crime. You will be arrested and go to jail. Good luck ge

Gutter Oil. How some of the Chinese recycle sewage into cooking oil. What could possibly go wrong?

Sounds like it, mate! I'll mail you some CBRN gear if you get stuck!

True that! We're lucky though we live in the middle of nowhere and my yard has around a quarter of an acre that's fenced off so he's got plenty of wander room. We've always walked him around first and last light when there's practically zero chance of running into other dog walkers and providing we don't put up any mule deer in the forest he's a pleasure to handle. As a younger man I'd have liked to see what he could do on those muleys and whitetails but we don't do those things here! Buckethead is here to stay and he'll live out the rest of his natural life with my collection of re

Thanks mate! My youngest son volunteers at the local dog rescue and he really bonded with him while he was there. The dog had been found chained to a post in the middle of the Mojave desert and left for dead. The team found after several reports from motorists driving through Arizona. He spent 7 months at the shelter and was deemed unadoptable because he's a pitbull, no history surrounding his upbringing other than he was abandoned, and a big dog too! 3 adoptions fell through and he seemed destined to spend the rest of his life in the no kill shelter. My Mrs was concerned he'd be trouble becau

I've seen it a lot over the years and you're right, I can't think of a better one at the moment. The phoenix rose twice from the ashes in the 1900's. In 1918 and again in 1945. Look at the globe and it's burning in many places. Literally in some. You can only hope we learn from the mistakes of those that come before us but sadly many don't study history and are thereby doomed to repeat it. The next generation seems to ignore the failures of the previous and around we go again... Lock and load!

Looks a lot like my APBT. He's soft as shite too, a time served brisket thief!

Wash your hands a lot and avoid large groups of people. It's a basic life lesson but it works really well!

It's certainly dividing opinion again but the massive difference between the two nations is that manuscript that set out the blueprint for the way forward. It's a shame that inalienable rights have to be debated these days but that document ensures that one bloke can't do a damn thing with the sweep of a pen.

It's hardwired into our species. If you look at conflict and the development of technology they go together like peas and gravy. The default setting of humanity is violence and poverty. Ground zero. Everything we have we've worked together and built. If you look at the middle east right now that is what a reset looks like. Our polite society is simply a great thing that can end at any time and without much warning. I heard this saying a few times over the years. My dad said he'd heard it from his grandad, my great-grandad, who fought at the Somme but I've seen it pop up in memes and those

Apples and oranges I know, but this is why the Yanks have the electoral college and after the Trump win in 2016 the Dems are trying as hard as possible to "reform" it because the guy that won it didn't get the popular vote. If the Yanks didn't have their current system California and New York would decide every election, every time. I don't know if this made the news in Canada, or the UK, but the US state of Virginia's new Democrat majority has introduced sweeping gun control legislation in the state. Many local sheriffs have pledged not to enforce the unconstitutional laws brought in by

I can't say I have, mate, but then I've kinda been on an internet fast for a few months and I haven't had chance to keep up with much of anything that isn't work. I switch my computer on and once it all updated it was like, bang, she's everywhere. It just surprises me how much an autistic teenager can get everyone's piss boiling. I couldn't give a flying f*ck what a teenager says about anything and I was wondering whether it was an internet thing. She isn't coercing anyone into anything and it's nothing switching the station is going to fix. I just don't understand why everyone's gone all
-
But she's an autistic teenager and has no power to coerce anyone into doing anything. A kid. They're all puppets mate I just can't fathom the vitriol she attracts from seemingly normal people. Even Don gets stuck into her... Is it an internet thing?
-
Yeah that's the one. Everyone seems to be losing their sh*t every time she goes to Twitter. Like reverse Donald.
-
Why does everyone keep picking on this autistic girl? What's she done?

UK is the 6th largest arms exporter so despite being anti-war they're making a few quid of it! I'm kind of annoyed though these war cries always push up the price of ammo...

Damn, that was depressing reading...

We both know who could turn the other into glass, mate, but the act is symbolic if nothing else. The issue has divided opinion and there certainly isn't the support they had in the early 00's. That divided support has seen trillions wasted already in the gulf. I don't think anyone would take that bet! I'm interested he would spin being pro-Donnie and anti-refugee in the same press conference. When the Iranians start jumping ship they won't be coming to America for cheap healthcare!
