    Fuck the ban

Mr Dillon is one of the greats. He was there on the March with the rest of the Hardcore. His hospitality is unrivalled and I was proud to stand alongside such a man. Smoothy. You aren't even fit to carry his digging slippers. :realmad:

  5. I'm not much with captions but if they're going to chase us across fields, like that, then they better re-think their advanced driving course. Infact it might be worth fitting a winch to our 4x4's and charging them a £70 "release" fee.

    Hunt sabs

    Any links or footage?
  7. So.... should we be showing such pictures? :search:
  8. Is it possible that these huge shoots are designed to clear the land so it can't be coursed? There is talk of similar happening at Altcar.

    Wild Game

Keep checking the Discovery type channels. They have a River Cottage day every now and then adn they show all of them back to back. Cook On The Wild Side is pretty good viewing.
  11. Well I'm sure you're aware that poaching is a rural crime and I must stress that The Hunting Life cannot endorse such practice. However if you have received a licence from DEFRA to take hares outside the permitted timeslot please ignore my comments.
  12. Pest control can be done in many different ways but if you were shooting hares at night I'm sure you had the relevant licence from DEFRA. Should we be showing pictures of this kind?
  13. what was your final bid chris <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No takers
  14. £520?!?! I'll start the bidding for WhatBanNoBan.Com for 50p
  15. I've watched that clip about 30 times now and the adrenalin flows... f*** me does it!! Do not steal a lions dinner!
  16. I know the debate has raged on other forums but should we be carrying on with the 'F*** 'em' attitude? :search: In fact how long can we carry on with the 'F*** 'em' attitude before we're regulated out of existence? Some very good points have been made so far but with the increasing threat to all forms of pest management should we be posting these sorts of pictures? I see no reason to control hunting any further than it already has been. In fact the most recent of restrictions is bollocks. The ban on hunting with dogs was based on class war rather than any factual argument but this is
  17. Viz. As a deer manager of considerable experience do you think it should be necessary to have some form of DMQ? Compulsory licensing against self regulation?
  18. So you have to be able to shoot to a very high degree to get the DSC part 2? Sounds like that level of proficiency is worth attaining if you value your craft. Going back to the original point of thread... do the current calibres, suitable for deer, need a DSC? What I mean is, if I was to shoot deer would the land have to be cleared for the calibre and would I have to produce a DSC to support my application?
  19. Fair one Vizzer... it does the job. When you do the DSC... is it one of these tickets that shows you know how to pass the test or is it something that the messers can't get? Never hit the deer with anything so this is completely new territory for me but some tickets aren't worth the paper they're written on and I'm wondering whether the blaggers can slip through? Does a DSC make you a deer stalker or does it give you a piece of paper that allows you to try?
  20. Would the .22 centrefire do the job though? Not a clue here just curious.
  21. I've seen a fox stalking a cat in next doors garden, on the estate I used to live on. The old dear wasn't the best on her pins so I used to move the milk off the front step and take it round to the back door. It was about 6am in summer. As I walked round the side of the house I could see the brush and I got within a few yards of it before it even knew I was there. Cracking condition for an urban... but the cat was shitting itself and trying to get away through the hedges. Anyway a scuffed the floor with my shoe and it turned round and saw me... I side stepped and let it run up the path
