  1. The big problem you'll have with the older guns is spares. What's your budget?
  2. Just caught up with your last few threads, Stabs. Great stuff mate.
  3. .22 air rifle? Get the best you can afford. What's your budget?
  4. :11: After being outted as an anti I thought I better get my keyboard in gear! There you go the advertising slogan to go with it! Dig Deep. You know it's worth it!
  5. 12 months already on what is rapidly becoming the benchmark for global hunting! As of today we have 671 members, yesterday 288 of them visited to have a nosey! Our current record is 182 online at one time! That's awesome! We keep going from strength to strength and this truly is a testament to those that believe hunting doesn't have a future. Thanks to everyone that has made this place what it is. It can't be done without you! The UK has a new season dawning and I'm sure everyone it itching to get out do a bit... The most important thing is to get on here and tell us a
  6. Nice one Stabs This was brought up on another forum as there seems to be an upsurge in visits from the self proclaimed 4th emergency service. If you keep dogs bookmark that link and read it. Know your rights. Bear in mind for the future that the RSPCA don't have any right to come onto your property. They have no legal powers what so ever as they're a civilian organisation. If they come to your door and ask to look at your animals tell them to leave your property. If they aren't flanked by police officers brandishing a search warrant then politely tell them where to go. Yo
  7. I'm going to lock this thread for a couple of days and give the contributors a chance to chill out for a bit... It'll be re-opened a bit later on and hopefully normal service will be returned. If not I'll move it to the Flame Threads and you can carry on as you wish. This is a shooting forum and while I know f**k all about deer stalking it's nice to read about it without wading through a slanging match between members. Please keep any disagreements to PM or the Flame Threads Cheers Chris
  8. Well said, Peg. Please keep it to PM... I don't want to send another thread to the flame section.

There's alot of stuff around that's upto the job, Moll, but you won't get fuel economy and a great towing vehicle. The two don't mix. A saloon car will tow and give economy but it won't swim! Just look at what you're going to use it for the most. If you want something powerful that can stand getting a bit wet then look at a diesel. Getting the electrics wet in the middle of a fast flowing stream isn't funny even when you have got something to get yourself out. Takes ages to hand winch a Land Rover. You can buy rough Discovery for around a grand. It'll tow and you won't have to worry
  10. Sounds about the going rate for a brand spanker. 12 month warranty with that. You'll need a scope too (look for the Hawke 4x32 for about £25-30) as there are no open sites on the gun. Full legal power, cracking little vermin tool that'll give you plenty in return if you look after it. No problems with rabbits at all. Have a look at the Webley Xocet and Stingray too...
  11. What is it you want the help with?

    well.......

Where was the passion and the fire? On paper that side should rival anyone in the world but they couldn't... again. Why? Because they don't give a f**k. It's not about putting on the shirt and playing your bollocks off anymore it's about taking a big fat f*****g pay cheque and looking pretty... Remember this? And This? They did it for the pleasure of wearing the shirt. They'd give more in a game than these idle f*****s would in season. England will now be remembered for this... RIP English football... maybe someone will have the decency to st
  13. Sorry I've had to delete this thread. Air rifles aren't suitable for use against anything other than small vermin so I don't think a topic on the biggest quarry is appropriate. Shooting is under scrutiny at the moment. Please think about it before you post. Regards Chris
  14. Funny you should say that Baldie... the word Mandelson pops up quite frequently....
  15. Makes you wonder whether they'll disclose why they slapped a D notice on the case... police had grounds to confiscate his guns before he went on his murdering spree but why let that stand in the way of a good bit of knee jerk law making?
  16. Life sentence for airgun killer The man who murdered a two-year-old boy with an airgun in Glasgow has been jailed for life and ordered to serve at least 13 years in prison. Mark Bonini was found guilty three weeks ago of murdering Andrew Morton, who died after being hit on the head by an airgun pellet in Easterhouse. Bonini, 27, a drug addict, had admitted firing the shot which killed the toddler but denied murder. Andrew's mother Sharon McMillan said the sentence was "a joke". Ms McMillan, who described Bonini as "an animal" after he was found guilty, said she wanted hi
  17. Where's the air coming from? Is it a gradual leak or is it dumping the air?
  18. Mangal Pandey: The Rising One of the best Aamir Khan performances ever witnessed. Truly spectacular.
  19. As long as the British public say f**k all we'll continue to get screwed... The British public are reknown for not complaining... at least not to where it counts.
