  1. Logun lamp is upto the job but have a look at the Tracer Atom too. Both start at around £70 new.
  2. By from someone that offers warranties. There's enough cheap genuine scopes around not to gamble on the Bay.
  3. Is this the same Osama Bin Laden that the Regan administration funded to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan?
  4. Budget at least £100 for your filling equipment. Filling up a Rapid with a stirrup pump ain't fun so look at a bottle. There's alot of kit on the market for that kinda money but don't confine yourself to just PCP and gas strut. A top end springer will do the job just as well. As always new stuff will be warrantied and there is plenty of second hand stuff doing the rounds, although it varies in quality so beware.
  5. Yeah... there is a reason for that... Click For The Reason
  6. That's it mate. I've never hand an FAC. Never had to. I don't have any land suitable and it's all airgun only. I do have a cabinet fitted and I do store my guns in it. The main reason is so that little fingers can't go messing with the rifles but also because airguns ain't cheap and a gun cabinet is as safe storage as it gets. So what's the problem with being a little proactive for a change?
  7. I used to think like that until that toddler was killed by some prick firing one from his window. If you want to avoid licencing because you want to go poaching with an airgun then the quicker they're tagged the better. FFS I can't believe I'm reading this on an open forum. What's the point in tightening the law if you're not using one legally in the first place? Won't make any difference to you! Tag em. Secure em. Remove the power limit and then the rest can be dealt with as they arise. That way gun crime will reflect the issue and the punishments will fit the crime. The Brococks have d
  8. You're already in the North East Mafia Molly, so secret you didn't know...
  9. Don't worry! You're safe!
  10. That's a good point Mick. Worth trying both and seeing which one you get on with. Both rifles are aimed at the same point in the market are both priced evenly. Having shot both I prefer the Air Arms because the magazine system is much easier for me to deal with. My fingers aren't as nimble as they used to be and I struggled loading the Daystate mag. If shot capacity is a problem for you the Daystate will carry more shots. The standard length rifles are supposed to hold more usuable shots than the carbine but I've found it negligible in the field. Go to a shop. Stick both rifles in your
  11. Air Arms without a second glance at the Daystate.
  12. Any of the North East lads drink that Tyne estuary piss they call Toon Cider? :11:
  13. My understanding is that it's the land occupier. As long as it's writing from the occupier then it's fine. Get it in writing though. Can't stress that enough. The terrier lads have to carry their written permission by law.
  14. Theobens are heavy rifles too... is there a particular reason for a weight limit?
  15. Only if you're going to sell them on. You don't need one to control as they're under a different law to other game animals.
  16. It's not quoted at you S200 user. I had to remove a post. Leave it at that gents.
  17. Legal requirement. Get it from your local post office.
  18. Norwich Evening News My cat was put down while I was on break CAROLINE JENKINSON 23 August 2006 14:30 A pet owner today spoke of her devastation at returning from a short break to find the RSPCA had taken her 21-year-old cat away and he had been put to sleep. Karen Peat, from Scratby, only found out what had happened to her pet Buster because a neighbour left a message on her answerphone saying a cat had been found and asking if it was hers. Another neighbour had seen Buster and taken him in, concerned at how thin he was. She contacted the RSPCA, who sent an inspector arou
  19. Calibre is a personal choice. Both are upto the job but both have strengths and weaknesses (albeit minor ones.) .22 is a heavier pellet with good stopping power. It drops off faster than a .177 though so your range will be effected. .177 is a lighter pellet and flies with a flatter trajectory. It doesn't have the wallop of the .22 and can be effected by wind. The old saying went '.22 for fur, .177 for feather' but the both kill the same if your pellet placement is right. Which is the right one for you?
