I saw that one in the trending section last night along with Contagion, Outbreak, and 28 Days Later. It's almost like people want to scare the living piss out of themselves!

I've seen that one in the list but I've never got as far as that with it. I've noticed a lot of sh*t getting put on many of these streaming sites that are conspiracy theories that have been made all shiny and labelled documentaries. We have fantastic ways of getting out this 'information' but a very poor ability to process it. I'll pass on placenta sprinkles if it's all the same...

I've read the comments remotely on this over that last few weeks even though I've not had the time to log in and post any. Is containment even possible at this point or are we simply delaying the inevitable and trying not to overload the EMS? Looking at the news cycles in the last 5 years and some of the out right shite reported/posted/circulated is anyone surprised? I'm curious as to why the anti-vaxxers are so f*ck*ng quiet and whether they're reevaluating their batsh*t (pun intended) stance? Will they allow the true believers to get their jabs?

Place is still lit up but it looks like the set of 28 Days Later! Driving up the covered part of the Freemont experience was something I'll never see again. Looks the same as you'd expect it to on a Friday night but all the people were teleported out! I haven't mate but I was hoping to give him a ring this week while I'm off work. The Scarlet Fell-pernel is a tough one to track down. I'll have to see if the anti-sites have an update on his whereabouts!

Southern Utah but I'm in and out of Nevada 5-6 days a week at the moment. Last week Governor Sisolak order a 30 suspension on gambling in the state and designation of closure of non-essential businesses. As a result practically everywhere is shut. I posted in another thread we were able to drive a truck up Freemont St two Friday nights on the trot and the only cars we saw were LVMPD. It's surreal as you'd struggle walking up them on a Friday night never mind driving a 15 tonne truck! We hit every green light too. It looked almost like the mob had only just set up shop as opposed to i

Loved both but the sequel to Sicario was a little disappointing. +1 on the suggestions!

Bit quiet at the minute with the statewide restrictions. The whole state looks like it's moved back to the 1950's and not in a good way!

Even in the US the laws vary from state to state. What's a common sight in the areas I live and work would get you in seriously bother in NY or California but what I carry on a daily basis would get me a lengthy sentence in the UK. That said the right to defend you and yours is a commodity that many don't believe we should have. I think the next few months will see a paradigm shift there, in the extreme examples we're bound to see. I know Europe will have a different perspective from what is seen in the news but if like where I am the police could be over an hour away and they can't be re

I married my Mrs when she shouted knock on before the ref blew his whistle. The essentials are important!

Absolutely and I reckon in the coming months they'll just be the base line. I'm with Ted on this one. Although you can pick up 4-5 new Glocks for the same price as an H&K! Spread the love!

I've not posted for a few months so I'll sell you mine at wholesale rate and then you can mark them up and pass them along to the needy. I'm not greedy but diversity of income will be what we're all looking at moving into the latter part of the year! You in?

Yep. Depending on the families it'll either bring them closer together for the better, or rip them apart completely. Another one of those "Work For The Solution" or "Exacerbate The Problem" scenarios. Only time will tell, I suppose.

Price gouging to a captive audience. Shameful!

I'm open to correction but when they were introduced you were able to down vote posts with either a very high limit or unrestricted. That was the subject of controversy based on some posters opinions as it effected members reputations on their profiles.

Been watching the first season of Narcos: Mexico on Netflix. It's really good but local context made it a lot better, IMO. Still a decent crime series.

Quite the opposite this end, mate. We're still able to move freely this side of the Atlantic but that could change within hours if the powers collectively flex. We've had many months of seeing each other briefly because of working commitments and this has allowed us to catch up a bit. Saying that we're quite a way behind the UK when it comes to lockdowns and quarantine. Salt Lake City police have reported a 35% jump in domestic violence incidents since they started insisting on sheltering in place. That has a degree of surprise attached as the majority of people in this state are very rel

For anyone interested NPR have the current cases mapped out in the US. It's updated regularly and gives a bit more info for anyone that wants to know more than what's going on in New York.

I've got plenty of work at the moment. Not sure how it will play out medium to long term but the genie's out of the bottle now. We're all taking this ride whether we like it or not!

Social distancing recommended at 6ft. Restaurants and coffee shops are take out drive through only. A lot of shops are shut but everything is still chugging along albeit at a slower pace. We have 5 confirmed cases in our county with one fatality. Las Vegas is like a ghost town since the governor suspended all gambling in the state and ordered the closure of bars and restaurants. We drove the truck up Freemont St last Friday and anyone that's been there to see the lights will know how quiet it would have to be to roll up there!

Main one would be extending food storage for a couple more months. I did the tactical relocation thing during the last recession. Shopping for a month instead of a day became necessity. This has highlighted a couple of things we hadn't considered and when it blows over we'll concentrate and fixing it for the next time around. Also reliable news sources. Some of the sh*t reported/posted/circulated on this emergency has demonstrated how pathetic the sources we use for information actually are. The hysteria we're witnessing is part of that to a degree. Globalization has been a reality since

Blame all three. Them for leaving. Our policies for paying them to be here. Everyone follows the money.

True! Hope it doesn't become a broken Brexit promise.

You'd think so but it's only as good as the people watching it. That goes for both countries. Britain's border wall is 20 miles wide at it's narrowest point and more of a moat than a wall. Didn't cost a penny to install so at least you have that going for you. Doesn't seem to be preventing much.
