Fair comment but I don't think it's a case of what's worse or what's not. The vast majority of posts, in the Classifieds section, are selling dogs and while I have no doubt that many are genuine how many people are here in an attempt to offload unwanted animals and pretty much nothing else? How many people here would buy a dog from free ads? IanB's already said that he isn't going to get rid of the Classifieds, so it's not going to happen but if you want to stop them you remove the section. If they can't post then they can't advertise and at least this way the forum doesn't appear t

If we're looking at any compromise then sellers of dogs should be ridiculously informative with their ads. That means as much detail as possible instead of an article that reads... Title: FOR SALE Body Of Post: Lurcher... PM for details. End of post. However if you want to remove the cancer, that is the dog peddler, you cut it out completely.

Looking at the classifieds on this forum makes us look like it's a doggy swap shop. We all hate peddlers yet there are pages and pages of people selling dogs on. If people want to buy and sell shit then use Ebay... or is because it's absolutely free here that it attracts so many? You can argue the toss about how many posts are needed to trade but why have the shit here in the first place? You might need 1 post, 10 posts, 1000 posts but if you want to be here purely to sell stuff you'll soon spam the boards enough to get your post count up enough to trade. Get rid of that forum an

The easiest ways around this is don't use your main ISP email address unless you absolutely have to. Use Hotmail, Yahoo, GMail, etc and if you start getting crap of marketing companies change the address. It also pays to keep your spam filters up to date with your email provider. If antis want to spend $2500, a time, on email addresses then I for one encourage them. It'll be less money they have to follow us around.

There are much better springers to FAC than an HW80. Also your choice of .25 ammo will be limited because of the calibre. Why not run a 77 or a 97 at 16ft/lbs on ticket? Especially with the ranges you're shooting at, I'm surprised you need FAC.
