    Diatomaceous earth is a really good as a mechanical control for crawling insects. It's basically fossilized algae. It acts by physically removing the chitin, from insect exoskeleton. The waxy coating on the shell. This causes them to dehydrate, to death. I've used it with quite a lot in the last few years. It works well where there is a sensitivity to traditional insecticide but it's a residual, plain and simple.     It shouldn't bankrupt, the country, but remember who's devising this scheme. Especially when the fiscal situation, in the UK isn't exactly tip top to begin with. It can be done cheaply but you're talking about a self-serving government entity. Millions over budget is the norm, not the exception. It should save on benefits but you're taking taxpayers money and redistributing it. It's not like any of the departments are going to suddenly cut their funding.

    It's not. Nationalism is loyalty to a nation. Racism implies the superiority of a particular race, over others. An oxymoron would be like saying military intelligence, or truthful politics.

    You should see some of the hardcore Christians, in the States. They believe the bible is the definitive law of existence. Some of these people hold great power in government. Even to the point of allowing biblical doctrine into science textbooks for kids. I don't think it's so much the people believing it's the influence of the believers in changing the story to suit themselves and then passing it on as facts. It doesn't lower intelligence, per se, but it increases ignorance, with every generation. History is always written by the winners.

    Very good link. It's nice to see there are places in the world where individual rights, trump bureaucratic intervention... They even took it a step further by changing the law so that others can't be attacked by the nanny state! Very refreshing!

    First step is to get it chronographed. With the simplicity of these rifles it's likely that anyone that has owned it has had a crack at tuning it. It's very straight forward and Joe Blogg's pet cat could have had a go while Joe was out at work.

    Costs vary but it's usually associated as one of the easier rifles to work on. Be warned though. A savvy firearms officer will look straight for the tell tale signs of modification, and act according. Get it chronoed to see what it's doing. Get it detuned, if necessary, get an FAC if not. The former is easier than the latter. Most gun smiths will do the work. It's straight forward enough but costs vary. As for the legality of doing such a thing it's unlikely that a gunsmith would grass you up. They'll just make it legal for you. Best to ask for a quote to get it sorted. For any
