I reckon it's been very selectively edited to entertain the masses. Most of these people probably stock up for hard times. Loss of work, maybe. We used to have thousands of these preppers, in Britain. They lived through a war. We called them parents and grandparents.

Defo! If they get involved they will chase you, and your family. They don't stop.

You need to actual legal advice here. It might cost a couple of quid but could save you a lot in the long run. I've seen what the CSA can do, later down the line. Everything might be peaches, and cream, now but may not be in the future.

And as my palm smashes continually against my face, over, and over, and over, again... It doesn't have to and it shouldn't have to. Small government is still the ideal for the free man. Big government only favours the tyrant and those in his service. You wish to be ruled with an iron fist. I do not. -

I don't think the manipulation of voters has been up for dispute? We seemed pretty much agreement in how the sheep behave. Large corporations profit by supply and demand. A large, informed, population won't buy a product from a corporation that intentionally pollutes, and thus said corporation cannot survive. It's how the market works. It's how the environmental movement has gained the popularity it has in the last 30 years. It's the reason why things like fair trade and organic have become a symbol, against corporate affiliation. Ironically these fair trade, and organic, businesses are co -

Yeah you asked, I answered... I think this is how this little discourse thing is supposed to work? This is a much older, but better form, of social media! America is now worse than Europe? Seems like you've had quite a suckle at the propaganda teat yourself!! Democratic governments choosing totalitarianism? That's honestly a new one on me, as the meanings contradict each other. The only people wanting to be ruled, at the moment, seem to be you and your mates! If you want to be a leader, for personal power and wealth, you're wrong every time. A good leader is in it for the nation. -
No Money In Pest Control!
ChrisJones replied to mole trapper's topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
I've made a pretty decent living in pest control. I won't be buying a Bentley any time soon, but I have a decent paying job that I really love to do. Being qualified is important. So is being experienced. Both come with time. If you wanted to jump in, straight away, getting on with a national company will get you both. This writer, in the airgun mag, that can't make any money in pest control, isn't doing it right. If he's waiting for all the pigeon/rabbit shooting, airgun jobs, he'll not have enough money to keep his lights switched on. If he knows as much about inner city rat -

The best example of what happened to the most famous libertarian government, is what you can see in the US now. 250, ish, years of it's evolution. It didn't become anarchy. I agree that the political process is corrupt but the idea of a morally upstanding führer is even more asinine than the utopia that either of us are trying to achieve. We're both arguing about something that is completely unachievable, because the majority don't really give a f**k. They're happy little sheep waiting for the nice shepherd to come along and lead them to the food trough. Not a care in the world. I'm as -

The point I'm trying to make, maybe not so clearly, is that big government never works in our interest. It never has, and it never will, and because of the apathy, in Britain, it will never get any smaller. Are you seriously okay by being ruled by a government? An entity that demands obedience to it's agenda? -

As we know there is no ideal world, and you're right politics is a popularity contest. My way isn't going to happen and neither is yours. We will never be one nation. Big government is bad government, whatever they claim. Might want to re-zero your scope! They made one huge f*****g error, then. Power yes. Brains? Hardly. If the SS had all the power, and even a sniff of grey matter, they'd have gotten rid of him. Maybe changed the entire outcome of history. -

So how do the people 'tightly' control the government if not democratically? Democracy is as open to abuse as any other system, and if the government isn't elected it would be 'totalitarian' wouldn't it? Democratically... like I said... All system of government is open to abuse, which is why libertarianism keeps it small, and under control. Less government, for the people, by the people. People seem to lose sight of the fact that governments are supposed to work for us, not the other way around. They're elected to serve a purpose. Not to sit round all day, on my money, dreaming up wa -

He got rid of it because he was a power hungry tosspot (typical politician) Libertarianism preaches individual liberty above all. A small government tightly controlled by the people (fundamentals of democracy.) Libertarianism wouldn't allow a life long dole drawing retard because, by it's very nature, it removes government structure. Anarchy is no government, at all. -
I'd be dubious with a CO2 gun, for anything more than plinking. Temperature will effect the power on it, for starters. Lighter? For sure, but if your heart is set on a PCP why not save a little longer? Sounds like you've already got two of the best springers available?

National Socialism lasted 12 years. They promised everything and ended up with a state that was utterly ruled by the German government. Typical bullshit politician. It was a brief experiment showing that totalitarianism doesn't work either. -

Agreed but they're well on the way? That's under the current system. Socialism is a failure. Communism is a failure. National socialism is a failure. Centre left Labour. Failure. Centre right Conservative, failure. It seems all the systems that we've allowed to tried have all done untold damage to the planet, and are continuing to do so. Government gets bigger all the time. The bill to fund it seems to grow disproportionately to it. Libertarianism hasn't been tried. It subscribes to smaller government and greater person freedom. We've tried every other clusterfuck of a political system -

I can agree with that. They never found her [April's] body. I hadn't realised that the blood and bone fragments hadn't been proven to come from her, but it's pretty damning when human remains are found in your stove. I know his confession to the priest, wasn't submitted by the CPS, but he admitted to running her down in a car? Then there was the catalogue of porn on his computer? This is only the stuff that was released. The police, after the trial, said the evidence for his conviction was overwhelming. I honestly don't know what the jury were told but it sounds much more convincing than circu
