    SAD UPDATE 2nd NOVEMBER It is with much sadness that i am doing this update to let all the lads know who offered ferreting to my mate that he sadly lost his fight against cancer and passed away on sunday night his mum & dad still cant beleave the amount of offers he had from total strangers on the THL to take him out and help him reach his goal. For the last few mths he had still been looking forward to going ferreting he had even been out and bought some nets as he thought the treatment was working and he was going to reach his goal.. All i can still say is thanks very much to you all f

    Wow Whats it the wroung time of the mth First things first stubby i dont remember ever be warmed before !!!are you sure you have the correct person ? if i have been i will stand corrected and if i have been it must have been when i first joined ? as i said it was a simple misstake and after you told me i put it in the correct place.But you and me both know stubby i have never been on here slaging off people or starting fights with members i have only ever gave advice on topics and its not my style to get other to slag you off which is why i was suprized to see i had a warning for a simple

    i do my hunting around bristol and i have one place i go and theres about 6 white deer that pop up every few weeks or so but i have never seen any young about..

    taz2010 if you or your mate didnt want the gun all you had to do was tell me not run away and refuse to answer your pms or your mobile have the balls to say so as i wasted my time and fuel driving to our meeting point for you to not bother to turn up or bother to contact me deals are done with people on the THL on a trust basis thats how it works ...so all i can say is others beware .......     get youself a electric collar start useing in a small area if he dont do as hes told give him a zap once he cottons on take him out for the recall test and again if he fucks off zap him he will soon change his ways ..hope it helps

    Roger i have worked very hard to get this body to this level of fitness and it cost me alot lol but i sugest you get yourself a mirror so you can have a look at yourself so one day you could if your lucky look like me .Ive given the trap back to tim so if your mate wants it he will have to collect from his place. .Whats the full address of the show ? what time does it start ? and who else from the THL is going ? talk to you soon mate

    Granted that the end result was the same but being snared will make you pass out before death but the type of asphixiation that he did to the squirrel was drowning which will result in the lungs filling with water which will take a while before the squirrel passes out then dies. The bottom line is its all about respect for what you hunt

    I agree with you james he should be fined for what he did, he could have banged it on the head or shot it with a airgun...Drowning must be a nasty way to die for anything

    I have used a makes Bettinsoli and it was a nice shotgun but in my opinion it wouldn't hold its second hand value as much as Beretta or Browning.....so given the choice I would opt for a second hand Beretta/Browning. im with dave1375 on this one a nice secondhand beretta or browning will give you a better resale later

    im not saying every yapper can be cured but some can ..when i first started with the lurchers many years ago i was offered a small lurcher bitch that yapped on the chase i turned her down but a mate took her on and all he did was ferret with her for mths she nailed loads in the net plus a few runners it gave her her what she needed easy catches she went on to be a very good day and night dog..

    Get on ebay mate and try and get the steel bottle as the have a better pass rate most div shops charge about £8.00 per refill
