As others have said with out us there is no need for the mods ..................BUT i do think on some of the topics that start on here they get very out of hand in a very short space of time and they need to be deleated faster and people warned or got rid off .....On the whole THL is a fantastic site for hunters to log in to and talk to some fellow hunters

if you want to get your eye in with a shotgun go and do a few days at clay shooting it will teach you to give your target more lead etc etc that way you wont have half dead rabbits or pigeons left to suffer or waste more carts then you have to .Once you get yourself a name as a good shot you will get the invites as other shooters know you are a safe gun... Trust me it worked for me kev -

Had a good day out today with Topper and his dogs also ferret feller and rod & dog on the shovels . Ok i need to explain about the first crap posting ......I started it late last night after coming back from the pub after having a few pints So this was the start of my problems i can remember starting the post and getting the pics ready to up load but thats when the sleeping juice kicked in so her indoors thinking she was helping me took the laptop off me before it fell of my lap ! had a quick read of the post and sent it for upload So i will start again now im awake . .

i agree with you mate stop takin the piss and tell the lad, but i disagree with you about it doesnt matter if you read up, the guy doesnt know when the jill was mated, does he know what the gestation period for a ferret is? i dont know but in most cases it would be fine but heres an example of when it wouldnt be fine, last year we bred a jill and 2 days over her due date the MAXIMUM you should leave a ferret i took her to the vet, to cut a long story short kits had died inside her whomb and her body had started absorbing the kits but there was another deformed kit there dead inside her still a -

Instead of all the fecking piss taking from so say experts why not give the man some helpful answers before his ferret dies .It doesnt matter if you read up on ferrets before you get her up the duff or afterwards i thought this forum was to help out fellow hunters with help and advice ....The title says ...THE HUNTING LIFE YOUR # 1 source for fieldsports Not your no1 source for piss taking . I run a small whippet/bedlinton on a golf course the rabbits all have turbos fitted but the biggest problem i have is the place is full of hares and badgers the feckers are all over the place you put the dog on a bunny then half way though the run he switches to the hares -

hello People Just to let you know the Bath and West Game Fair was ok .It was not as big as it could have been but there was a lot of cheap kit on sale . So even if you dont need any kit its still worth going just to mix and have a chat with fellow hunters/

JT750 has taken the words out of my mouth ......as he says the pups only 5mth DONT push it to much to soon as he said love food and play as he gets bigger and stronger he will come up on his feet ..keep us posted ans show us some pics as he gets older
