  2. so in your opinion he is a worker. well i'll take your word for that. and wish you good hunting. so what is it about my dogs/ me that makes you want to have a go. you never once posted on any of my terrier posts when i was working russells. old trusty worked him over a decade.
  3. well i have a little russell that is scared shitless of fireworks she is in a cage panting and shaking as i speak my lurcher wants to attack em. so i geuss he is shittin it as well just a different reaction
  4. i was talking about baldies post. get over Yourself. baldy i have just gone through fifteen pages of your posts. and not a sensable terrier orientated post in there why jump on all these posts if you contribute so little yourself to this part of the forum. is it your intention to undermine every post that involves any plummers bar yours. my bitch in the pic has worked a few foxes now but is still young so time will tell if she will be any good . i have pics of a few dogs also although ive showed you them on the other site that you dont seem to go on now. as for the pic. who knows iv
  5. you again rat . you made a c**t of yourself on moochers and now your gonna do it here. show me one post of my above dog with a rat in it. i dont do rats . your the type of member that goes about posting shite about everyone elses dogs and putting f**k all about your own. fair game has you sussed your a prick and do f**k all terrier work. lets see some working dogs in your posts . if i was a mod i'd have kicked you off first ive forgot more than you'll ever know an i'm just a weekend hunter its been going to ground since it was a year old ya plonker
  6. there you go mate one of rosies pups the way i see it mr and mrs keeps have gone to the trouble of going out and checking earths with a friend and are schooling there pups and entering some adult terriers. so the thing to do is to wish them luck as all experienced terrier folk know it can go for or against you with any breed. so best of luck and thanks for the exellent post. told as it was. warts an all. and well done to the ugly fella with the little gremlins for showing you a few of his earths.
  7. nope just could not beleave the qestion got asked boys why not everyone has years of experience . i bet you was born at the age of thirty
  8. if everyone put the same time and effort into even an occasional post . these forums would be vastly improved. great to see you out trying your terriers . early days . and hats off to deepdig. looks a couple of handy little blacks you had out with you. and a good days schooling for the pups have got to say though mr keeps isnt half as photogenic as mrs keeps happy hunting
  9. tigerdog2 that pups turned out well. somehow thought it would as a pup it shone out of it. best of luck with him
  10. you can do all the normal things you would do with a pup of that age. lead train toilet / kennel train. socialise the pup gain its confidence. once its inoculated the first task is more socialising outdoors more lead training basic obedience can be handy then there is stock breaking. including rabbit if you so wish. plenty to get on with but most of all let it be a pup for a while
  11. these two dogs are fair to middlein all round pesters
  12. a good dogman will make something out of what they have to hand. a poor dogman can fail with the best of breeding
  13. she hasnt done a lot . down to me not getting out as much as i should but she is coming on fine and is used for general pest control of all legal pests. the pics are around a year old i have pics of sire and dam somewhere i'll try and find em.
  14. there was a litter born of merles it caused quiet a stir memers on here not only own but also bred them
  15. as long as you get your pup off workers you will have a good chance. but if you are looking for an allround pest dog dont write off the plummer terrier. google the working plummer terrier site. or click on the link on one of.. keeps .. posts. whatever you get good hunting to you
  16. do you clipped this bitch mate? no i dont clip her her jacket is top class the best ive seen on a russell for many a year better pics of her coat like i say cant take credit for her . she was bred by a lad up here. however he is probably looking as he is a nosy twat
  17. rapski do you mean this one? if so its just an ordinary worker to worker russell bitch bred by a lad up here. cheers hope this helps
  18. only ever met the man a couple of times. but i have to say he did spare a few minutes to talk to a total stranger. the first time i met him he was a big lump of a man the second time was at the three shires. and he was obviously not well. but done a great job. hats off to him . as for his dogs they could bite holes in iron bars far to hard for me. almost suicidal. but they could get the job done where many failed or would die trying.
  19. in the wild nature will take the unhealthy week or sick. any animal that is not up to scratch wont last long. and only the strongest and fitest will reproduce if you breed close you have to cull hard. edited to say i have bred father to daugher and produced good sound offspring better than the sire and dam
