  1. Cheers fd, she ll be a year In December so If I can get her going above ground this year, competent round stock and showing interest to go to ground Al be happy, if I can find a small place to let her have a go then all the better, if not i don't mind waiting for the following season

  6. Yeh mate, the other day on a call out she barked the whole dig thru done my box lol just aswell it was only a shallow set, she tries sneaking up on the dogs and now took a liking to try and catch bees lol. They should come with a warning sign eh haha
  7. Yeh I keep tabs on him constant, when the lurchers hunting with him it turns into a nightmare walk at times as the nose goes down and its gung ho, Today was only him to worry about so a little more at ease than normal lol
  8. Well first day off in the last two weeks where the kids and wife are back to normal duties, did plan to go fishing but got a lot going on so thought a wee walk would be better to clear my head. Loaded the dogs and only went a wee half mile down the road. Unloaded stuck the collar on Zak and let him bush away with the puppy taking interest every now and again.   9. yes takes an odd sort! some little oink turned up at my house asking about dogs only last night.......(my dogs are not kennelled there)....and I invited him in for a beer as I would any one with a shared interest, and I asked him about why he wanted a terrier of my line to which he came out with........"I have dug three litters of cubs so far this year and have a few more lined up but my dog struggles as the tubes are tight, and I heard you have smaller dogs!"   11. Fair play to the misses coming on ur hunts, I often watch ur videos as I find them fascinating but u my friend are off ur rocker, having them bite u let alone holding them not for me gives u the boke lol
  12. Am the same mate, only upside to yesterday was the pup got to come along an the wee guy was with me so got some educating in. That's me done now Al just get the pup bushing through the summer. Don't know how folk can go out there way looking for digs this time off year really isnt a nice time
  13. Had the same myself mate, was there 4 weeks ago and let two heavy vixens go in the hope they'd nest out of sight, but got a call last week which I was holding of as I hate going out this time of year, called me again Thursday night. So yesterday woke the wee fella early doors and off we went

  17. 2 horrible places I wouldn't like to visit again anytime soon, ones off the side off a quarry so was just huge boulders the other, farmers dump had like insulator endless sheets or corrugated followed by some big rock to get round

  20. I'm linwood mate so very much the same, I have loads more pics but cropping them is like doing injustice but was magic
  21. Well today wasn't too bad of weather so decided a wee walk to conic hill in balmaha, what followed was a six year old who swore I was adding steps. I think we got passed maybe even lapped but we got there at his pace an great scenery at the top, I will try and crop a few more pics and get them up soon
