Scotland where.......... "Alright baw bag" is a customary greeting "Thingy" means absolutely anything ... "f**k off" means really "Moan then" is an invitation to battle "Hunners" means 1,2 or 3 "12 degrees" means summer "Ma bit" means your house "Bawhair" is a recognised unit of measurement "Where u fae" determines if your getting a dooin or not "f**k it" is the solution to all problems "Ahh ya b*****d" means ouch I just hurt myself "Swear doon" means I promise "N wit" stands as a valid come back "Aboot a hunner year ago" means last week

OMG that's terrible..................poor wee souls , god bless them , how could they leave those wee babies to die , what a horrible sick race of people they are.....they turn my stomach the way some of them treat their children , the very same race that ran over a 2yr old baby and didn't stop, nor did the public walking past the dying baby stop..........evil evil race

How are all these pups doing? my bitch is now 28" and has now got a kinda rough coat she has done well only the couple of times she's been out due to my work commitments......love her to bits, beautiful nature and very bidable, a gem around the house and with my other dogs

why do you feel the need to compare the lad with your son, how do you the backgrounds are the same? Dogs fight sad but true i'm sure MOST peoples dogs (weather they admit it or not) have had alittle go with another dog I know mine have and I wouldn't have mine put to sleep for it. . @Dare its your dog lad you need to take care of it instead of moaning on here to people that dont know you or your sitution pal. All the best and dont take any of these comments on this thread to heart pal its only the tinterweb. I'm not comparing, and i dont know backgrounds are the same.......

oh dear!!!!!!!!!! i cant believe i'm reading this.............you are trying your damndest to hold your mum back from doing something in her life that will benefit her for a dog????? an aggressive one at that????????? you really need to sit and read what you have written and hopefully you will see who is the selfish person in your household, and before you say anything i have three sons 26yrs 24yrs and 20yrs which was a very hard task raising them through the teenage years myself, all 3 have their own homes and lifes now , my son who is same age as you has his own place with his girlfriend and

how wrong you are when brits try to do something they are BRANDED RACIST Aye, racist by singling out races (right or wrong) Giving those in charge the ammunition they want. This starts and stops with the government, MP's who don't have to deal with what the rest of us do. personally i thought the EDL were protesting against a RELIGEON not a race......... a religeon that muslims believe in which is foreign to our country and standards, and i was appauled at the way these extremists were allowed to voice their hatred towards the people who lost their lives in the 9/11 and

I first tagged along digging with a couple of the local lads when i was 12 much to the horror of my mum and dad, i used to stand at our gates and watch for them passing and me and my wee border collie would tag along lol, of course they didn't mind as we had cracking setts right down the back of our house!! if i wasnt mooching about with my collie and a few border terriers then me and my friend would be walking her dads greyhounds and he'd take us to the track to watch em race.......i must say my mum and dad put up with a lot with all my animals, between my bantam cockerels and hens, all my do

Having had borders most of my life i do hand strip them, BUT........when they get on in years i feel its cruel to put old dogs through the hand stripping process, and being a dog groomer for most of my life i find it easier for some owners to have their dogs clipped, most clipped borders are always clipped so there is no hassle with the coat whatsoever..........

i have a keats banded beauford and find it very easy and a good tone, the swaine and adeney are a lovely horn though but very expensive
-
It wont matter one bit to your dog having it clipped as you dont show your dog, sometimes it's a lot easier to clip them when they are just pets or workers, yes you get a better coat stripping it but it's not necessity, what matters is keeping your dog tidy, i've 2 old borders here who are clipped now for comfort to them, it would be cruel to make them stand and be stripped at their age this old boy is clipped.........

Has anyone off here ever bought bags of feed from this website? they let you order it and it says zero delivery charge, which makes you think it's included in the price, then they phone up to confirm your order and tell you that the site doesn't show delivery price and delivery is £6 on top of the order which makes the bag of food more expensive than the feed store down the road!!.......to which i then cancelled the order........if they can put prices on the site for their items then surely they can put delivery costs up for you to see!!!!!! to me it was a bit underhanded of them to do that an

Will try and find out more about Shawfield, thanks for that

It's all in the way each individual allows their dog to behave, some owners find it difficult to housetrain any breed, this is not down to the actuall breed of dog it's down to what you allow them to get away with, a dog is a dog whether it's a great dane or a pomeranian, the behaviour comes from what/how you teach them!

I'd love to go to the greyhound track now and then on my few nights off but they closed the track nearest to me which was Ayr, do any of you know where the nearest is in Glasgow area?
-
They are lovely little dogs, not recommended for small children though, i wouldn't go down the road of epupz or preloved, i'd phone the (dare i say it) kennel club or the scottish kennel club and get a list of reputable breeders to get in touch with, they are the ones that will be honest with you not the puppy farmers just selling to anyone, i'd love a little Italian greyhound one day myself they are lovely little things.

Gorgeous pup, i just love that type of little lurcher, fantastic dogs, goodluck with your pup

I feel sorry for the dog as it is obviously uncomfortable being where it is, but i also feel sorry for the presenter as she obviously doesn't know how to behave around strange dogs, anyone who can read a dog would never in a million years have put themselves in the position she did with that dog. Sad thing is she did and the outcome was terrible for her and the dog, i wouldn't say the dog done a full on attack as the damage would have been A LOT worse, i would say the dog was telling her to get back out its face, not good for the dog to behave in that manner but it cant exactly tell her push h
